Life under Sharia
JUSTICE – Book ‘O’
Death for Apostasy
(The only thing worse than a Kafr is a Muslim who chooses to become a Kafr (Unbeliever)
o8.1 When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves
to be killed.
o8.2 In such a case, it is obligatory for the caliph (A: or his representive) to ask him to repent and return
to Islam. If he does, it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed.
o8.4 There is no indemnity for killing an apostate (O: or any expiation, since it is killing someone who
deserves to die).
The Objectives of Jihad – Pg 602
o9.8 The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first
invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social
order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya,
“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His
messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given
the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),
THE RULES OF WARFARE Pg 603
o9.10 It is not permissible (A: in jihad) to kill women or children unless they are fighting against the
Muslims. Nor is it permissible to kill animals, unless they are being ridden into battle against the
Muslims, or if killing them will help defeat the enemy. It is permissible to kill old men (O: old man
(shaykh meaning someone more than forty years of age) and monks.
o9.11 It is unlawful to kill a non-Muslim to whom a Muslim has given his guarantee of protection
o9.12 Whoever enters Islam before being captured may not be killed or his property confiscated, or his
young children taken captive.
o9.13 When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled.
o9.14 When an adult male is taken captive, the caliph (def: o25) considers the interests (O: of Islam and the Muslims) and decides between the prisoner’s death, slavery, release without paying anything, or ransoming himself in exchange for money or for a Muslim captive held by the enemy. If the prisoner becomes a Muslim (O: before the caliph chooses any of the four alternatives) then he may not be killed, and one of the other three alternatives is chosen.
The Spoils of Battle – Page 606
o10.1 A free male Muslim who has reached puberty and is sane is entitled to the spoils of battle when he
has participated in a battle to the end of it.
After personal booty (def: o10.2), the collective spoils of the battle are divided into five parts….
o10.3 As for the first fifth that is taken from the spoils, it is divided in turn into five parts, a share each going to:
(1) the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), and after his death, to such Islamic interests as
fortifying defenses on the frontiers, salaries for Islamic judges, muezzins, and the like;
(2) relatives of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) of the Bani Hashim and Bani
Muttalib clans, each male receiving the share of two females;
(3) orphans who are poor;
(4) those short of money (def: h8.11);
(5) and travellers needing money (h8.18).

o11.0 NON-MUSLIM SUBJECTS OF THE ISLAMIC STATE (AHL AL-DHIMMA)
011.1 A formal agreement of protection is made with citizens who are:
o11.2 Such an agreement may not be effected with those who are idol worshippers (dis: o9.9 (n:)), or
those who do not have a Sacred Book or something that could have been a Book. (A: Something that could have been a Book refers to those like the Zoroastrians, who have remnants resembling an ancient Book. As for the pseudoscriptures of cults that have appeared since Islam (n: such as the Sikhs, Baha’ is, Mormons, Qadianis, etc.), they neither are nor could be a Book, since the Koran is the final revelation (dis: w4).)
o11.3 Such an agreement is only valid when the subject peoples:
(a) follow the rules of Islam (b) and pay the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya).
THE NON-MUSLIM POLL TAX
o11.4 The minimum non-Muslim poll tax is one dinar (n: 4.235 grams of gold) per person (A: per year).
The maximum is whatever both sides agree upon. It is collected with leniency and politeness, as are all
debts, and is not levied on women, children, or the insane.
o11.5 Such non-Muslim subjects are obliged to comply with Islamic rules that pertain to the safety and
indemnity of life, reputation, and property. In addition, they:
(1) are penalized for committing adultery or theft, thought not for drunkenness;
(2) are distinguished from Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);
(3) are not greeted with “as-Salamu ‘alaykum”;
(4) must keep to the side of the street;
(5) may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims’ buildings
(6) are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite
the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays;
(7) and are forbidden to build new churches.
o11.6 They are forbidden to reside in the Hijaz, meaning the area and towns around Mecca, Medina, and
Yamama, for more than three days when the caliph allows them to enter there for something they need).
o11.7 A non-Muslim may not enter the Meccan Sacred Precinct (Haram) under any circumstances, or
enter any other mosque without permission (A: nor may Muslims enter churches without their permission).
o11.10 The agreement is also violated….. if one of the subject people:
(1) commits adultery with a Muslim woman or marries her;
(2) conceals spies of hostile forces;
(3) leads a Muslim away from Islam;
(4) kills a Muslim;
(5) or mentions something impermissible about Allah, the Prophet or Islam.
o11.11 When a subject’s agreement with the state has been violated, the caliph chooses between the four
alternatives mentioned above in connection with prisoners of war (o9.14).
(1. death 2. slavery 3. release 4. exchange for a Muslim prisoner of war.)
SHARIAH ON MARRIAGE
The following are exerts from the Islams handbook on Shariah Law
Chapter M in the Reliance of the Traveller.
m3.4 The third integral is the (A: bride’s guardian
since a woman may not conduct her own marriage. The Prophet said.
“Let no woman marry a woman to another or marry herself to another.”
The marriage agreement is not valid without a guardian who is:
(b) legally responsible
GUARDIANS WHO MAY MARRY A VIRGIN TO A MAN WITHOUT HER CONSENT
m3.13 Guardians are of two types, those who may compel their female charges to marry someone, and
those who may not.
(1) The only guardians who may compel their charge to marry are a virgin bride’s father or father’s
father, compel meaning to marry her to a suitable match (def: m4) without her consent.
(2) Those who may not compel her are not entitled to marry her to someone unless she accepts and
gives her permission. Whenever the bride is a virgin, the father or father’s father may marry her to
someone without her permission
m6.7 It is unlawful for a Muslim man to marry:
(1) a Zoroastrian woman;
(2) an idol worshipper;
(3) an apostate from Islam (murtadd, def: o8);
(4) or a woman with one parent who is Jewish or Christian, while the other is Zoroastrian.
(5) (N: It is not lawful or valid for a Muslim man to be married to any woman who is not either a
Muslim, Christian, or Jew; nor is it lawful or valid for a Muslim woman to be married to anyone besides a Muslim.)
Note: There is no legal ground for a wife to accuse her husband of rape as she is obligated to provide herself to his fancy
THE WIFE’S MARITAL OBLIGATIONS
m5.1 It is obligatory for a woman to let her husband have sex with her immediately when:
(a) he asks her;
(b) at home (O: home meaning the place in which he is currently staying, even if being lent to him or
(c) and she can physically endure it.
(d) (O: Another condition that should be added is that her marriage payment (mahr, def: m8) has
THE WIFE’S RIGHT TO INTERCOURSE
m5.2 (Imam Ghazali:) One should make love to one’s wife every four nights, as is fairest, since the
number of wives one may have is four, and one may wait this long to do so, though one should make
love to her more or less than this, according to the amount she needs to remain chaste and free of want
Evidence of Pedophilia in Shariah Law
m8.2 A guardian may not marry his prepubescent daughter to someone for less than the amount
typically received as marriage payment by similar brides, nor marry his prepubescent son to a female
who is given more than the amount typically received. If he does either of these, the amount stipulated is
void and the amount typically received is paid instead (O: in both these cases, as a necessary condition
for the validity of the marriage contract).
See also Chapter N about wet-nursing.
n12.1(a) the milk comes from a female at least nine years old, whether it is occasioned by sexual
intercourse or something else;
Taking Turns with Wives
m10.5 A husband with more than one wife is not obliged to spend his nights with them in turns but may
keep away from them (A: all) without sin. But he may not begin spending the night with one of them
unless he chooses her by drawing lots. Whenever he spends the night with one wife, he is obliged to
spend nights with the others, giving equal time to each one. When a husband intends to begin staying
with his wives (A: after an intermission or absence), the wife whose lot is drawn is the first with whom
he spends the night. All are included in taking turns, whether a wife in her period or postnatal bleeding,
one who is ill, or one who cannot have intercourse because of a vaginal birth defect.
m10.6 If the husband wants to take one of his wives on a journey with him, he may not do so unless he
draws lots to see who it will be. If he draws lots (A: and takes the winner with him), then when he
returns, he does not need to make up the turns which the other wives missed while he was on the
journey. If he did not draw lots but just chose a wife to travel with him, this is a sin, and on his return
he must give equal time to the other wives for the time they missed.
m10.9 If a man marries a new wife when he already has another, he interrupts the succession of turns to
spend time with the new wife. If she is a virgin, then he stays with her seven days and need not make
them up with the other wives. If she is a nonvirgin, then he may choose to either spend seven days with
her and make up (O: to the others the number in excess of three days), or spend three days with her and
not make up the time with the others.
DEALING WITH A REBELLIOUS WIFE
m10.11 When a husband notices signs of rebelliousness in his wife (nushuz, dis: p42) (O: whether in
words, as when she answers him coldly when she used to do so politely, or he asks her to come to bed
and she refuses, contrary to her usual habit; or whether in acts, as when he finds her averse to him when
she was previously kind and cheerful), he warns her in words (O: without keeping from her or hitting
her, for it may be that she has an excuse. The warning could be to tell her, “Fear Allah concerning the
rights you owe to me,” or it could be to explain that rebelliousness nullifies his obligation to support her
and give her a turn amongst other wives, or it could be to inform her, “Your obeying me [def: (3)
below] is religiously obligatory”).
If she commits rebelliousness, he keeps from sleeping (O: and having
sex) with her without words, and may hit her, but not in a way that injures her, meaning he may not (A:
bruise her,) break bones, wound her, or cause blood to flow. (O: It is unlawful to strike another’s face).
(3) It is obligatory for a wife to obey her husband as is customary in allowing him full lawful sexual
enjoyment of her person. It is obligatory for the husband to enable her to remain chaste and free of want
for sex if he is able. It is not obligatory for the wife to serve her husband (dis: w45.1); if she does so, it
is voluntary charity.
(4) If the wife does not fulfill one of the above-mentioned obligations, she is termed “rebellious”
(nashiz), and the husband takes the following steps to correct matters:
(a) admonition and advice, by explaining the unlawfulness of rebellion, its harmful effect on married
life, and by listening to her viewpoint on the matter;
(b) if admonition is ineffectual, he keeps from her by not sleeping in bed with her, by which both
learn the degree to which they need each other;
(c) if keeping from her is ineffectual, it is permissible for him to hit her he believes that hitting her will
bring her back to the right path, though if he does not think so, it is not permissible. His hitting her may
not be in a way that injures her, and is his last recourse to save the family;
(d) if the disagreement does not end after all this, each partner chooses an arbitrator to solve the
dispute by settlement, or divorce.)
…As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).

Another Sad Reality of Islam
From the BBC -
A couple arrested in Pakistan on suspicion of killing their 15-year-old daughter with acid say they carried out the attack because she looked at a boy.
The girl’s father told the BBC that they feared she would bring dishonour on their family. Her mother said it was her “destiny” to die that way.
The couple were arrested in Pakistani-administered Kashmir last week.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan reported 943 women were killed in honour killings last year.
That represented an increase of more than 100 from 2010.
Police say that the incident took place in a remote village in the southern district of Kotli. They say that the case was brought to their attention by the couple’s eldest daughter.
The girl, known only as Anusha, was found to have burns over 60% of her body. Her father Muhammad Zafar told the BBC what happened:
“There was a boy who came by on a motorcycle. She (Anusha) turned to look at him twice. I told her before not to do that, it’s wrong. People talk about us because our older daughter was the same way,” he said.
Her mother Zaheen described the aftermath: “She said ‘I didn’t do it on purpose. I won’t look again.’ By then I had already thrown the acid. It was her destiny to die this way.”
Anusha’s father is reported to have taken his daughter inside, beaten her and then acid was poured over her with the help of his wife. Officials say that the couple did not take their daughter to hospital until the following morning.
The couple say that an older daughter had already disgraced the family and they did not want to be dishonoured again.
Police say this is one of the first cases of its kind in Pakistani-administered Kashmir, where such killings are relatively rare.
In March the government of Pakistani-administered Kashmir made acid attacks a criminal offence punishable with life imprisonment.
British Muslims pushing to set up Muslim Enclaves within Britian by setting up areas as Shariah Controlled Zones
Notices are being placed around Britain informing people that they are entering into a SHARIAH CONTROLLED ZONE. Islamic Rules Enforced: No Alcohol – No Gambling – No Music of Concerts – No Prostitution – No Drugs or Smoking
According to the British newspaper, the Daily Mail, Imam Anjem Choudary, is behind the printing the distribution of thousands of stickers that are being placed in areas all around Britain.
The article quotes the Muslims behind the movement saying…
‘We want to run the area as a Sharia-controlled zone and really to put the seeds down for an Islamic Emirate in the long term.’
‘We now have hundreds if not thousands of people up and down the country willing to go out and patrol the streets for us and a print run of between 10,000 and 50,000 stickers ready for distribution.
Britain gave way to the Muslims and allowed them to open up five Shariah law courts in September 2008. By June of 2009 there were 85 Shariah courts and the number is growing.
The British thought that if they give into the demands of Muslims, they would be content and not demand more. This was not to be the case, instead, British Muslims have learned that the Government has no back bone and will coddle the Muslims just to keep the peace.
More and more Muslims have become emboldened by the lack of leadership and opposition and now officials are reporting that there 25 problem areas where British police and laws are being sequestered. The Daily Mail article reports “Women in parts of East London including Tower Hamlets have been threatened with violence and even death by Islamic extremists if they did not wear headscarves.”
North America better wake up to the problems that Europe is having due to political correctness and Multi-Culturalism.
This was a great debate and I send my congratulations to David Wood for a decisive win in his debate with Radical Imam Anjem Choudray.
Source: BBC Asian news:
More than 1,000 Muslim protesters have stormed a courthouse and burned two churches in central Java, Indonesia.
The attacks in Temanggung happened after a Christian man was sentenced to five years in jail for distributing leaflets deemed insulting to Islam……
In a separate development, a video has emerged of Sunday’s deadly attack on members of the minority Ahmadiyah Muslim sect.
The footage apparently show how a group of about 20 men were forced by an angry crowd to strip before they were beaten so violently that several died.
To the West, we see the Muslim Burqa as an issue of modesty. However, it goes deeper. It is not just to cover the nakedness of a woman, but it also covers the ‘Shame’ of a woman. This comes from the Muslim doctrine of ‘Awrah‘.
It was Eve who brought shame on her self as she fell into sin and lured the man into sin with her. Eve,the temptress with her nakedness, caused man (Adam) to fall into sin. Therefore, women are considered a temptation to man and should be covered. Islam teaches that the body of the women is full of temptation and shame.
Abul Kasen, a former Muslim from Bangladesh, explains, “A woman is covered from head to toe just to hide her ‘awra,’ which is the Islamic vocabulary for the part of body that arouses sexual desire in a man, or the ‘shame’ of her.”
Extreme modesty is not unique to Islamic dress as we have our share of it in America. We only have to look to the
Catholic nun’s ‘habit’ or the Amish/Mennonite lady to see extremes in modesty. The West has certainly lost touch with modesty, even among so-called Christians. (Remember Miss California Carrie Prejean) Someone with common sense can see that the provocative, immodest dress among women in the West has led to the rise of premarital sex and children born out of wedlock. Immodesty will cause a nation to sin and lead to promiscuity. The scriptures teach us to dress modestly and when America had higher standards of modesty, she was less promiscuous.
It might appear that the high modesty standards of Muslim nations might be a source of righteous living that we in the West could benefit from in some way. Perhaps the West could learn from Muslims and perhaps it could bring us to what God desires. Not so.
[A word of caution: The rest of this article contains some sexual content that may offend some readers. Please do refrain from reading this if you are likely to be offended.]
This is what extreme piety and modesty ideals can lead to. Instead of fostering a healthy relationship between a man and a woman, as God intended, it perverts a relationship. For example: A rather unusual Fatwa was issued in 2006 by Rashad Hassan Khalil. He declared that if two married people were naked while engaging in sexual activity that the marriage should then become annulled. After some outrage on the matter, Khalil reversed his opinion, but only partially. Khalil then stated that it was ok for a husband and wife to be naked, but they should not look directly at one another and should partake in the activities under a blanket at all times.
One of the aspects of modesty is to keep purity among both sexes. One would think that if Muslims are so intent to keep their women modest, sexual promiscuity by men would be minimal. However, that is not the case. Abul said “restrictions on sex for men in Islam are just superficial.”
Sex outside of marriage is prohibited in Islam and punishable with death. But there are many areas where that does not apply. For example, Muslim men can have unlimited sex with infidels who are captives or slaves (Dhimmis). Muhammad himself had a Coptic slave that was presented to him by the ruler of Alexandria in Egypt and he had children from his other sex slaves within his Harem.
Also, Muslim men can have “one night” stands of sexual delight under the doctrine called “M’uta marriage.” It is a short term contract marriage which allows a man to sleep with a prostitute for a brief period of time. Within Sharia law there is a restriction of up to four permanent wives at any time, however, there is no such restriction on the number of temporary wives that one can have at any given moment. Sunnis have banned the M’uta system but it is widely practiced among Shiites.
Muslims put on an outward show of piety and modesty, but what really goes on is perhaps worse than what is going on in the West. If only we would return to Biblical standards for behavior!
KARACHI (AFP) – The lifeless bodies of two tiny babies are being given their final bath before burial in Karachi, after they were left to die in the southern Pakistani city’s garbage dumps.
“They can only have been one or two days old,” says volunteer worker Mohammad Saleem, pointing at the two small corpses being gently washed by his colleagues at a charity’s morgue.
In the conservative Muslim nation, where the birth of children outside of marriage is condemned and adultery is a crime punishable by death under strict interpretations of Islamic law, infanticide is a crime on the rise.
