Women in Islam
Two British Ladies are raped in the Name of Allah
By Khaled Abu Toameh – Gatestone Institute
Last week, the father of two British women of Pakistani origin said that his daughters were gang raped in front of him by Muslim fundamentalists in Libya’s eastern city of Benghazi.
The father, Awadh al-Barassai, said on his Facebook page that the women were part of a humanitarian convoy that was heading to the Gaza Strip.
He said that the women were raped in front of him after being kidnapped by Muslim extremists. He condemned the crime as a “horrible act.”
According to reports in the Arab media, the two women were gang raped in accordance with a fatwa [Islamic religious decree] issued by Jordanian Salafi Sheikh Yasser Ajlouni. http://www.youtube.
Ajlouni’s fatwa allows the jihadis to have sexual intercourse with women who fall captive during war.
The women who were raped in Libya obviously had not been aware of the fatwa.
That they were part of a human convoy headed to help Muslims in the Gaza Strip did not prevent Libya’s jihadis from perpetrating their crime.
The “pro-Palestinian” groups in charge of the convoy must feel a bit embarrassed about this crime. That is perhaps why they have been trying to hide the case from the eyes of Muslims and the international community.
What happened to the two women in Libya is a big disgrace not only to Islam, but to all those who sympathize with fundamentalists and terrorists, including the “scholars” and “sheikhs” who authorize such crimes.
Moderate Muslims who fail to strongly condemn the Muslim terrorists and rapists also bear responsibility for the crimes that are being committed in the name of Islam.
The gang rape in Libya will also cause tremendous damage to the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip. As of now, families of “pro-Palestinian” activists around the world will have to think ten times before sending their daughters on humanitarian aid convoys.

Muslim parents kill thier 15 yr. old girl by throwin acid on her
Listen to Today’s Broadcast Here
Another Sad Reality of Islam
From the BBC -
A couple arrested in Pakistan on suspicion of killing their 15-year-old daughter with acid say they carried out the attack because she looked at a boy.
The girl’s father told the BBC that they feared she would bring dishonour on their family. Her mother said it was her “destiny” to die that way.
The couple were arrested in Pakistani-administered Kashmir last week.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan reported 943 women were killed in honour killings last year.
That represented an increase of more than 100 from 2010.
Police say that the incident took place in a remote village in the southern district of Kotli. They say that the case was brought to their attention by the couple’s eldest daughter.
The girl, known only as Anusha, was found to have burns over 60% of her body. Her father Muhammad Zafar told the BBC what happened:
“There was a boy who came by on a motorcycle. She (Anusha) turned to look at him twice. I told her before not to do that, it’s wrong. People talk about us because our older daughter was the same way,” he said.
Her mother Zaheen described the aftermath: “She said ‘I didn’t do it on purpose. I won’t look again.’ By then I had already thrown the acid. It was her destiny to die this way.”
Anusha’s father is reported to have taken his daughter inside, beaten her and then acid was poured over her with the help of his wife. Officials say that the couple did not take their daughter to hospital until the following morning.
The couple say that an older daughter had already disgraced the family and they did not want to be dishonoured again.
Police say this is one of the first cases of its kind in Pakistani-administered Kashmir, where such killings are relatively rare.
In March the government of Pakistani-administered Kashmir made acid attacks a criminal offence punishable with life imprisonment.

Women are a Tilth to their Husbands
The word ‘Tilth’ means a field. The meaning is, a field is where you plant your seed.
WARNING!!!
The content of this blog is going to be graphically sexual. This stuff offends me but we are exposing what Islam teaches. This is from their scriptures and their scholars. If it offends you, please don’t read it. I have not read a large portion of it myself as I can’t bring myself to do so. It is put here for to document their teaching and for that reason only.
The Qur’an says
Surah 2:223 Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will…
One commentator said
God’s purpose in the creation of women is not merely to provide men with recreation. Their mutual relationship is like that between a farmer and his tilth. A farmer approaches his field not just for the sake of pleasure, but to acquire produce. Similarly, man ought to approach the tilth of the human race with the purpose of acquiring produce, that is, offspring.
The rest is from various Scholars in Islam. (Again I advice caution if you wish to read on)
From Ibn Kathir

The Reason behind revealing Allah’s Statement: “Your Wives are a Tilth for You.
Allah said:
نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ …
Your wives are a tilth for you,
Ibn Abbas commented,
“Meaning the place of pregnancy.”
Allah then said:
… فَأْتُواْ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ …
…so go to your tilth, when or how you will,
meaning, wherever you wish from the front or from behind, as long as sex takes place in one valve (the female sexual organ), as the authentic Hadiths have indicated.
For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that;
Ibn Al-Munkadir said that he heard Jabir say that the Jews used to claim that if one has sex with his wife from behind (in the vagina) the offspring would become cross-eyed.
Then, this Ayah was revealed: نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُواْ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ (Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth, when or how you will).
Muslim and Abu Dawud also reported this Hadith.
Ibn Abu Hatim said that Muhammad bin Al-Munkadir narrated that Jabir bin Abdullah told him that;
the Jews claimed to the Muslims that if one has sex with their wife from behind (in the vagina) their offspring will become cross-eyed.
Allah revealed afterwards: نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُواْ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ (Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth, when or how you will).
Ibn Jurayj (one of the reporters of the Hadith) said that Allah’s Messenger said:
مُقْبِلَةً ومُدْبِرَةً إِذَا كَان ذلِكَ فِي الْفَرْج
From the front or from behind, as long as that occurs in the Farj (vagina).
Imam Ahmad recorded that Ibn Abbas said,
“The Ayah, نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ (Your wives are a tilth for you) was revealed about some people from the Ansar who came to the Prophet and asked him (about having sex with the wife from behind).
He said to them:
ائْتِهَا عَلى كُلِّ حَالٍ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الْفَرْج
Have sex with her as you like as long as that occurs in the vagina.
Imam Ahmad recorded that Abdullah bin Sabit said:
I went to Hafsah bint Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr and said, “I wish to ask you about something, but I am shy.”
She said, “Do not be shy, O my nephew.”
He said, “About having sex from behind with women.”
She said, “Umm Salamah told me that the Ansar used to refrain from having sex from behind (in the vagina). The Jews claimed that those who have sex with their women from behind would have offspring with crossed-eyes. When the Muhajirun came to Al-Madinah, they married Ansar women and had sex with them from behind. One of these women would not obey her husband and said, `You will not do that until I go to Allah’s Messenger (and ask him about this matter).’
She went to Umm Salamah and told her the story.
Umm Salamah said, `Wait until Allah’s Messenger comes.’ When Allah’s Messenger came, the Ansari woman was shy to ask him about this matter, so she left.
Umm Salamah told Allah’s Messenger the story and he said:
Summon the Ansari woman.
She was summoned and he recited this Ayah to her:
نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُواْ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ
Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth, when or how you will.
He added:
صِمَامًا وَاحِدًا
Only in one valve (the vagina).”
This Hadith was also collected by At-Tirmidhi who said, “Hasan.”
An-Nasa’i reported that Ka`b bin Alqamah said that Abu An-Nadr said that;
he asked Nafi, “The people are repeating the statement that you relate from Ibn Umar that he allowed sex with women in their rear (anus).”
He said, “They have said a lie about me. But let me tell you what really happened.
Ibn Umar was once reciting the Qur’an while I was with him and he reached the Ayah: نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُواْ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ (Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth, when or how you will), he then said, `O Nafi`! Do you know the story behind this Ayah?’
I said, `No.’
He said, `We, the people of Quraysh, used to have sexual intercourse with our wives from the back (in the vagina). When we migrated to Al-Madinah and married some Ansari women, we wanted to do the same with them. They disliked it and made a big issue out of it. The Ansari women had followed the practice of the Jews who have sex with their women while they lay on their sides. Then, Allah revealed: نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُواْ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ (Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth, when or how you will).”
This has an authentic chain of narrators.
Imam Ahmad reported that Khuzaymah bin Thabit Al-Khatami narrated that Allah’s Messenger said:
لَا يَسْتَحْيِي اللهُ مِنَ الْحَقِّ ثَلَاثًا لَا تَأْتُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَعْجَازِهِن
Allah does not shy from the truth – he said it thrice-, do not have anal sex with women.
This Hadith was collected by An-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah.
Abu Isa At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa’i reported that Ibn Abbas narrated that Allah’s Messenger said:
لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلى رَجُلٍ أَتَى رَجُلًا أَوِ امْرَأَةً فِي الدُّبُر
Allah does not look at a man who had anal sex with another man or a woman.
At-Tirmidhi said, “Hasan Gharib.”
This is also the narration that Ibn Hibban collected in his Sahih, while Ibn Hazm stated that this is an authentic Hadith.
In addition, Imam Ahmad reported that Ali bin Talaq said,
“Allah’s Messenger forbade anal sex with women, for Allah does not shy away from truth.”
Abu Isa At-Tirmidhi also reported this Hadith and said, “Hasan”.
Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Abdur-Rahman Darimi reported in his Musnad that;
Sa`id bin Yasar Abu Hubab said: I said to Ibn Umar, “What do you say about having sex with women in the rear?”
He said, “What does it mean?”
I said, “Anal sex.”
He said, “Does a Muslim do that?”
This Hadith has an authentic chain of narrators and is an explicit rejection of anal sex from Ibn Umar.
Abu Bakr bin Ziyad Naysaburi reported that Ismail bin Ruh said that;
he asked Malik bin Anas, “What do you say about having sex with women in the anus?”
He said, “You are not an Arab. Does sex occur but in the place of pregnancy? Do it only in the Farj (vagina).”
I said, “O Abu Abdullah! They say that you allow that practice.”
He said, “They utter a lie about me, they lie about me.”
This is Malik’s firm stance on this subject.
It is also the view of Sa`id bin Musayyib, Abu Salamah, Ikrimah, Tawus, Ata, Sa`id bin Jubayr, Urwah bin Az-Zubayr, Mujahid bin Jabr, Al-Hasan and other scholars of the Salaf (the Companions and the following two generations after them).
They all, along with the majority of the scholars, harshly rebuked the practice of anal sex and many of them called this practice a Kufr.
Allah said:
… وَقَدِّمُواْ لأَنفُسِكُمْ …
…and send for your own selves beforehand.
meaning, by performing the acts of worship while refraining from whatever Allah has prohibited for you.
This is why Allah said afterwards:
… وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّكُم مُّلاَقُوهُ …
And fear Allah, and know that you are to meet Him (in the Hereafter),
meaning, He will hold you accountable for all of your deeds.
… وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٢٢٣﴾
…and give good tidings to the believers (O Muhammad).
meaning, those who obey what Allah has commanded and refrain from what He has prohibited.
Ibn Jarir reported that Ata said, or related it to Ibn Abbas, وَقَدِّمُواْ لأَنفُسِكُمْ (…and send for your own selves beforehand) means,
mention Allah’s Name, by saying, `Bismillah‘, before having sexual intercourse.”
Al-Bukhari also reported that Ibn Abbas narrated that Allah’s Messenger said:
If anyone of you on having sexual relations with his wife said: `In the Name of Allah. O Allah! Protect us from Satan and also protect what you bestow upon us (i.e., the coming offspring) from Satan,’ and if it is destined that they should have a child then, Satan will never be able to harm him.

More Teachings from Muhammad that gives Abuse to Women
Starvation for Lewdness if you are girl
Surah 4:15 If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, Take the evidence of four (Reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some (other) way.
Compare to Men for Lewdness
Surah 4:16 If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone; for Allah is Oft-returning, Most Merciful.
Dictionary for Lewdness Preoccupied with sex and sexual desire; lustful. or Obscene; indecent. This is believed to also include the sin of homosexuality.
Killing Women and Children is acceptable as “Collateral Damage”
Narrated As-Sab bin Jaththama: The Prophet passed by me at a place called Al-Abwa or Waddan, and was asked whether it was permissible to attack the pagan warriors at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet replied, “They (i.e. women and children) are from them (i.e. pagans).” I also heard the Prophet saying, “The institution of Hima is invalid except for Allah and His Apostle.” Sahih Bukhari 4:52:256
Men can beat their wives and will be asked no questions
Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife. Abu Dawud 11:2142
Flogging means no sex for the night
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Zam’a: The Prophet said, “None of you should flog his wife as he flogs a slave and then have sexual intercourse with her in the last part of the day.” Sahih Bukhari 7:62:132
Beating a Women in the presence of Muhammad
As for Ali he said “Women are plentiful, and you can easily change one for another. Ask the slave girl; she will tell you the truth.” So the Apostle called Burayra to ask her and Ali got up and gave her a violent beating, saying, ‘Tell the Apostle the truth.’” Ibn Ishaq: p 496
Muhammad showed not pity on a women who was severely beaten by her husband
Aisha said that the lady (came), wearing a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) of her husband and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating). It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah’s Apostle came, ‘Aisha said, “I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!” Sahih Bukhari 7:72:715
Muhammad said Women who complain of abuse are not the best
Iyas b. Abdullah reported God’s messenger as saying, “Do not beat God’s handmaidens;” but when `Umar came to God’s messenger and said, “The women have become emboldened towards their husbands,” he gave licence to beat them. Then many women went round God’s messenger’s family complaining of their husbands, and he said, “Many women have gone around complaining of their husbands. Those are not the best among you.” Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, and Darimi transmitted it. Mishkat Al-Masabih: Volume 2, page 692
Female Circumcision is Allowed and Prescribed

Crown Prosecuting Service The British courts have set up a division just to deal with this issue.
Female circumcision growing in Britain despite being illegal. Police and health professionals estimate that up to 2,000 girls may face being genitally mutilated during the holiday break
The Sunnah and Shariah on the topic
Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. Abu Dawud 41:5251
Abu Musa reported: There cropped up a difference of opinion between a group of Muhajirs (Emigrants and a group of Ansar (Helpers) (and the point of dispute was) that the Ansar said: The bath (because of sexual intercourse) becomes obligatory only-when the semen spurts out or ejaculates. But the Muhajirs said: When a man has sexual intercourse (with the woman), a bath becomes obligatory (no matter whether or not there is seminal emission or ejaculation). Abu Musa said: Well, I satisfy you on this (issue). He (Abu Musa, the narrator) said: I got up (and went) to ‘A’isha and sought her permission and it was granted, and I said to her: 0 Mother, or Mother of the Faithful, I want to ask you about a matter on which I feel shy. She said: Don’t feel shy of asking me about a thing which you can ask your mother, who gave you birth, for I am too your mother. Upon this I said: What makes a bath obligatory for a person? She replied: You have come across one well informed! The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When anyone sits amidst four parts (of the woman) and the circumcised parts touch each other a bath becomes obligatory. Sahih Muslim 3:684
e4.3 Circumcision is obligatory (for every male and female) by cutting off the piece of skin on the glans of the penis of the male, but circumcision of the female is by cutting out the clitoris (this is called Hufaad) Reliance of the Traveller: A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law
Fatwas on the topic
Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri
Firstly:
Circumcision is not an inherited custom as some people claim, rather it is prescribed in Islam and the scholars are unanimously agreed that it is prescribed. Not a single Muslim scholar – as far as we know – has said that circumcision is not prescribed.
Their evidence is to be found in the saheeh ahaadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), which prove that it is prescribed, for example:
1-
The hadeeth narrated by al-Bukhaari (5889) and Muslim (257) from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The fitrah is five things – or five things are part of the fitrah – circumcision, shaving the pubes, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hairs, and trimming the moustache.”
This hadeeth includes circumcision of both males and females.
2-
Muslim (349) narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When a man sits between the four parts (arms and legs of his wife) and the two circumcised parts meet, then ghusl is obligatory.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) mentioned the two circumcised parts, i.e., the circumcised part of the husband and the circumcised part of the wife, which indicates that a woman may be circumcised just like a man.
3-
Abu Dawood (5271) narrated from Umm ‘Atiyyah al-Ansaariyyah that a woman used to do circumcisions in Madeenah and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to her: “Do not go to the extreme in cutting; that is better for the woman and more liked by the husband.” But the scholars differed concerning this hadeeth. Some of them classed it as da’eef (weak) and others classed it as saheeh. It was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood. The fact that circumcision for women is prescribed in Islam is confirmed by the ahaadeeth quoted above, not by this disputed hadeeth. But the scholars differed concerning the ruling, and there are three opinions:
1 – That it is obligatory for both males and females. This is the view of the Shaafa’is and Hanbalis, and is the view favoured by al-Qaadi Abu Bakr ibn al-‘Arabi among the Maalikis (may Allaah have mercy on them all).
Al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in al-Majmoo’ (1/367): Circumcision is obligatory for both men and women in our view. This is the view of many of the salaf, as was narrated by al-Khattaabi. Among those who regarded it as obligatory is Ahmad… it is the correct view that is well known and was stated by al-Shaafa’i (may Allaah have mercy on him), and the majority stated definitively that it is obligatory for both men and women. end quote.
See Fath al-Baari, 10/340; Kishshaaf al-Qinaa’, 1/80
2 – That circumcision is Sunnah for both males and females. This is the view of the Hanafis and Maalikis, and was narrated in one report from Ahmad. Ibn ‘Aabideen al-Hanafi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in his Haashiyah (6/751): In Kitaab al-Tahaarah of al-Siraaj al-Wahhaaj it says: Know that circumcision is Sunnah in our view – i.e., according to the Hanafis – for men and for women. end quote.
See: Mawaahib al-Jaleel, 3/259
3 – That circumcision is obligatory for men and is good and mustahabb for women. This is the third view of Imam Ahmad, and it is the view of some Maalikis such as Sahnoon. This view was also favoured by al-Muwaffaq ibn Qudaamah in al-Mughni.
See: al-Tamheed, 21/60; al-Mughni, 1/63
It says in Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (5/223):
Circumcision is one of the Sunnahs of the fitrah, and it is for both males and females, except that is it obligatory for males and Sunnah and good in the case of women. End quote
Thus it is clear that the fuqaha’ of Islam are agreed that circumcision is prescribed for both males and females, and in fact the majority of them are of the view that it is obligatory for both. No one said that it is not prescribed or that it is makrooh or haraam.
Secondly:
With regard to the criticism of circumcision by some doctors, and their claim that it is harmful both physically and psychologically,
This criticism of theirs is not valid. It is sufficient for us Muslims that something be proven to be from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), then we will follow it, and we are certain that it is beneficial and not harmful. If it were harmful, Allaah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would not have prescribed it for us.
In the answer to question no. 45528 we have mentioned some of the medical benefits of circumcision for women, quoting from some doctors.
Thirdly:
We would add here the fatwas of some modern scholars who have responded to this war that has been launched against female circumcision on the grounds that it is harmful to health.
Shaykh Jaad al-Haqq ‘Ali Jaad al-Haqq, the former Shaykh of al-Azhar, said:
Hence the fuqaha’ of all madhhabs are agreed that circumcision for both men and woman is part of the fitrah of Islam and one of the symbols of the faith, and it is something praiseworthy. There is no report from any of the Muslim fuqaha’, according to what we have studied in their books that are available to us, to say that circumcision is forbidden for men or women, or that it is not permissible, or that it is harmful for females, if it is done in the manner that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught to Umm Habeebah in the report quoted above.
Then he said:
From the above it is clear that the circumcision of girls – which is the topic under discussion here – is part of the fitrah of Islam, and the way it is to be done is the method that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained. It is not right to abandon his teachings for the view of anyone else, even if that is a doctor, because medicine is knowledge and knowledge is always developing and changing. End quote.
In the fatwa of Shaykh ‘Atiyah Saqar – the former heard of the Fatwa Committee in al-Azhar – it says:
The calls which urge the banning of female circumcision are call that go against Islam, because there is no clear text in the Qur’aan or Sunnah and there is no opinion of the fuqaha’ that says that female circumcision is haraam. Female circumcision is either obligatory or recommended. Even though there is a fiqhi principle which says that the decree of a ruler may put an end to a dispute regarding controversial matters, the decree of the ruler in this case cannot be but either of two things: that it is either obligatory or recommended, and it is not correct to issue a decree banning it, so as not to go against sharee’ah which is the principal source of legislation in our land, whose constitution states that Islam is the official religion of the country. It is permissible to issue some legislation that provides guidelines for performing this procedure (female circumcision) in the proper manner in such a way that does not contradict the rulings of sharee’ah.
The words of the doctors and others are not definitive. Scientific discoveries are still opening doors every day which change our old perceptions. End quote.
In the fatwa of Dar al-Ifta’ al-Misriyyah (6/1986) it says:
Thus it is clear that female circumcision is prescribed in Islam, and that it is one of the Sunnahs of the fitrah and it has a good effect of moderating the individual’s behaviour. As for the opinions of doctors who say that female circumcision is harmful, these are individual opinions which are not derived from any agreed scientific basis, and they do not form an established scientific opinion. They acknowledge that the rates of cancer among circumcised men are lower than among those who are not circumcised, and some of these doctors clearly recommend that circumcision should be done by doctors and not these ignorant women, so that the operation will be safe and there will be no negative consequences. However, medical theories about disease and the way to treat it are not fixed, rather they change with time and with ongoing research. So it is not correct to rely on them when criticizing circumcision which the Wise and All-Knowing Lawgiver has decreed in His wisdom for mankind. Experience has taught us that the wisdom behind some rulings and Sunnahs may be hidden from us. May Allaah help us all to follow the right path. End quote. Circumcision of girls and some doctors’ criticism thereof
Islam Q&A, Fatwa No. 60314
We do not know of any hadeeth in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered that his wives or daughters be circumcised, but it is narrated that he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) advised a woman who did circumcision in Madeenah as to the proper way of circumcision. It was narrated by Abu Dawood (5271), al-Tabaraani in al-Awsat, and al-Bayhaqi in al-Shu’ab from Umm ‘Atiyyah al-Ansaariyyah that a woman used to do circumcision in Madeenah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to her: “Do not go to the extreme in cutting; that is better for the woman and more liked by the husband.” This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.
According to another report: “Take only a little and do not go to extremes.”
It is also indicated by the general meaning of the evidence that has been narrated concerning circumcision, such as the hadeeth in al-Bukhaari (5891) and Muslim (527) from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him): I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “The fitrah is five things – or five things are part of the fitrah – circumcision, shaving the pubes, trimming the moustache, cutting the nails and plucking the armpit hairs.”
In Saheeh Muslim (349) it is narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When a man sits between the four parts (arms and legs of his wife) and the two circumcised parts meet, then ghusl is obligatory.”
According to a report narrated by al-Tirmidhi (109) and elsewhere: “When the two circumcised parts meet…”
Al-Bukhaari used this phrase as a chapter heading.
Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: What is meant by this metaphor is the circumcised parts of the man and the woman.
Female circumcision is done by cutting a small part of the skin that looks like a rooster’s comb, above the exit of the urethra. The Sunnah is not to cut all of it, but rather a part of it. Al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah (19/28).
The Shaafa’is, the Hanbalis according to the well-known view of their madhhab, and others are of the view that circumcising women is obligatory. Many scholars are of the view that it is not obligatory in the case of women; rather it is Sunnah and is an honour for them.
But we would like to point out here that it has medical benefits to which attention should be paid, regardless of the difference of opinion among the scholars as to whether it is obligatory or mustahabb. This has been discussed in the answer to question no. 45528.
Is there any saheeh hadeeth about the circumcision of females?
Islam Q&A, Fatwa No. 82859
“Shaykh Muhammad, settle the controversy for us surrounding circumcision.”
My brother, we have talked about circumcision many times. I counsel every Muslim man on the face of the earth, and also every Muslim woman on the face of the earth: Brother, take the little bit of trouble it requires to get yourself a book of fiqh! Inconvenience yourself a little for Allah’s sake. Just take five minutes. Any book–do you have the book “Fiqh al-Sunna” by Shaykh Sayyid Sabiq (may Allah have mercy on him)? Do you have “Al-Mughni” by Ibn al-Qudama, or “Kitab al-Umm” by Imam al-Shafi’i? Do you have Fath al-Bari’s explanation of Sahih al-Bukhari? Any of the books of fiqh–I mentioned to you some books of fiqh and some books of hadith–open any of the books of fiqh. Open them. That’s it, plain and simple.
Review the words of scholars. Don’t just take the words of Muhammad Hassan, or this shaykh, or that shaykh. Look at any of the books of fiqh from our imams, respected leaders, and scholars–ask them. You will find that our scholars have said that circumcision of women–there are some who say that it is obligatory while others say that it is commendable. Some say it is obligatory, and others say it is commendable. There are some scholars who say it is obligatory, and there are some who say it is commendable.
To whoever says that circumcision is an ancient Egyptian custom with no origin in the sunna, I say, Brother, review the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Let us consult the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him): “If you touch the male or female circumcision…” This hadith deals with the highest level of community health. In the highest level of health: “If you touch the male circumcision,” meaning the circumcision of men, “or the female circumcision,” meaning the circumcision of women, “washing is obligatory.” These are the true words from the Prophet. It makes no sense at all in Arabic to say, “If you touch the male circumcision for men or the female circumcision for men.” Men, does this apply to you–”male or female circumcision”? Or rather, with circumcision for men or circumcision for women, “washing is obligatory.”
Thus I say before Almighty Allah…that the female Muslim doctor, the female Muslim doctor, decides whether or not this girl needs circumcision. It might be that the girl does not need circumcision. That’s an entirely natural situation. But if this news were to get out, it could upset her relationship with husband. It would upset her marital life. The female Muslim doctor might also decide that the girl needs circumcision.
Of course this does not mean that I am subjecting the religion to inspection from a doctor. No, my brothers, this does not mean that I subject evidence from the shari’a to review from a doctor! But rather, I refer to the doctor because he confirms evidence from the shari’a. Brothers, pay attention to this–I do not subject the shari’a to examination from the doctor, for the doctor to determine whether the shari’a is healthy or not. Rather I refer the evidence from the shari’a, or I refer the case to the doctor, to confirm the object of the evidence from the shari’a. …some of them say it is required, and some say it is recommended.
I am not saying consult a barber, but consult a female doctor sister. The female doctor will decide, she might say this girl is normal or she might say that this part is excessive then you reduce it. This is justice. I don’t know why a German, British or American entity (thinks it can) come to us to decide for us the circumcision of our daughters! Why should they decide on matters of our girls and women? We base our religion on Allah’s book and the sayings of our beloved prophet and our scholars. Just study the issue in any book of fiqh. If we read the words of our scholars, and we review what the good scholars said, we will see that the issue is not new, and there is evidence for it in the book of our Lord or in the Sunnah of the Messenger (peace be upon him). I ask Almighty Allah to protect our women and girls, for He is capable over all things.
Egyptian Shaykh: FGM Not An Inherited Custom. Muslim Scholars Say It Is Either Obligatory or Commendable
Egyptian shaykh Muhammad Hassan
Then they come to the issue of circumcision. They have no problems left except the issue of female circumcision in Kurdistan. The mothers and sisters of more than half of your party members were circumcised. This means that you insult your own grandmother. You insult your own mother. You accuse them of ignorance. You dishonour your dead grandfather and burn his coffin for allowing the circumcision of your mother. Circumcision is a tenant of Islamic law (sharia). (…) (This bill is) to satisfy the Jews who in the conference of the Jews in Beijing discussed that female circumcision should be banned. You obey their orders and disregard the Sharia of Allah (…).
They say if a mullah, a religious man, a father, a mother, a doctor or anyone else even mentions circumcision could be a good thing for women or if a woman feels uncomfortable and says that her mood was disturbed by that statement, she can complain to one of these organizations and agencies and they will take the mullah (…) to jail. (…) They can jail you for saying that circumcision is a good thing. The Imam Shafi’i (most Iraqi-Kurds belong to the Shafi’i law school) said circumcision is good! Aren’t you following his denomination? Didn’t the KRG president say that he is a Shafi’i? Your denomination says FGM is good, and that is why I am saying it is good. If you are honest in your denomination then don’t accept this discussion to be held in the parliament. Imam Shafi’i is one of those who say that FGM is an obligation, that girls and women should be circumcised (…)
If I get asked about the religious ruling on FGM I must keep my silence and not dare to open my mouth. I must request to avoid this subject. As soon as I utter that FGM is good then they can arrest me. (…) If you don’t accept this Mr. President you are the one who receives the project. You might say that you don’t approve of the MPs. The people will love you for doing that. (…)
No longer should they ridicule our religion and believes and honours. We have made you president, you have the parliament and the oil and the money and no one is bothering you, why don’t you leave our religion and honour intact?[7]

Muhammad taught that Women were mentally deficient.
Bukhari (48:826)
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, “Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?” The women said, “Yes.” He said, “This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.”
Bukhari 6:301
(“[Muhammad] said, ‘Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?’ They replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence.’”
“[Muhammad said] ‘Isn’t it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?’ The women replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her religion.’” Allah has made women deficient in the practice of their religion as well, by giving them menstrual cycles.)
Muhammad taught that women were Intellectually weak
Tabari I:280 “’I must also make Eve (bad word), although I created her intelligent.’ Because Allah afflicted Eve, all of the women of this world menstruate and are (bad word).”)…happy, content…utterly incapable from intellectual weakness…never to give us trouble…
Muhammad taught that there are more women in Hell than in Heaven
- Sahih Bukhari: 2:18:161; 7:62:125
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Abbas:
…The Prophet replied, “I saw Paradise and stretched my hands towards a bunch (of its fruits) and had I taken it, you would have eaten from it as long as the world remains. I also saw the Hell-fire and I had never seen such a horrible sight. I saw that most of the inhabitants were women.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! Why is it so?” The Prophet replied, “Because of their ungratefulness.” It was asked whether they are ungrateful to Allah. The Prophet said, “They are ungrateful to their companions of life (husbands) and ungrateful to good deeds. If you are benevolent to one of them throughout the life and if she sees anything (undesirable) in you, she will say, ‘I have never had any good from you.’ ”

Saudi Princess Exposes Problems with Shariah
Princess Basma Delivers a Blistering Commentary on Shariah in her Country
From the BBC – 8 April, 2012
Princess Basma Bint Saud Bin Abdulaziz tells the BBC there are many changes she would like to see in Saudi Arabia – but that now is not the time for women to be allowed to drive.
I speak as the daughter of King Saud, the former ruler of Saudi Arabia. My father established the first women’s university in the kingdom, abolished slavery and tried to establish a constitutional monarchy that separates the position of king from that of prime minister. But I am saddened to say that my beloved country today has not fulfilled that early promise.
Our ancient culture, of which I am very proud, is renowned for its nobility and generosity, but we lack, and urgently need, fundamental civil laws with which to govern our society.
As a daughter, sister, (former) wife, mother, businesswoman and a working journalist, these are the things that I would like to see changed in Saudi Arabia.
1. Constitution
I would like to see a proper constitution that treats all men and women on an equal footing before the law but that also serves as a guide to our civil laws and political culture.
For example, today in Saudi courts, all decisions are made according to the individual judge’s interpretation of the holy Koran. This is entirely dependent on his own personal beliefs and upbringing rather than universally agreed principles or a written constitution as a guide.
I am not calling for a western system but an adaptation of that system to suit our needs and culture. Thus our constitution should be inspired by the philosophy of the Koran with principles that are set in stone and not open to the whims of individual judges as is the case now.
In particular, the constitution should protect every citizen’s basic human rights regardless of their sex, status or sect. Everyone should be equal before the law.
2. Divorce laws
I strongly believe that current divorce laws are abusive.
Today in Saudi, a woman can ask for a divorce only if she files for what is called “Khali and Dhali”. This means either she pays a big sum of money running into tens of thousands of dollars or she has to get someone to witness the reason why she is filing for a divorce – an impossible condition to fulfil given that such reasons usually are the kind that remain within the four walls of a marriage.
Another way to keep a woman in the marital home against her will is the automatic granting of custody of any children over the age of six to the father in any divorce settlements.
This state of affairs is in complete contradiction to the Koran, upon which our laws are supposed to be based. In it a woman is given full rights to divorce simply in the case of “irreconcilable differences”.
UK Government deals with Force Marriage problems Caused by Islamic Culture
Britain’s Multicultural nightmare by Soren Kern
More than 400 children were subjected to forced marriage in Britain during the past year, including a five-year-old girl who is believed to be the country’s youngest victim of the practice.
The statistics were provided by the British government’s Forced Marriage Unit (FMU) as part of an ongoing effort to create a law that would criminalize forced marriage in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The custom is already illegal in Scotland.
Overall, the FMU said it gave advice or support related to nearly 1,500 cases of forced marriage during 2011, although experts say the vast majority of forced marriages in Britain go unreported.
Most of the instances of forced marriage in Britain involve Muslim families from South Asia, particularly Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. Many of the cases involve Muslim children who are taken abroad by their parents and forced to marry against their will. Forced marriages often involve kidnapping, beatings and rape.
Prime Minister David Cameron has compared the practice of forced marriage to modern day slavery and has said people should not “shy away” from addressing the issue because of “cultural concerns.” A new law outlawing the practice is currently being drafted and could be in place by the end of 2012.
Separately, more than 65,000 women and girls in England and Wales have been the victims of female genital mutilation, and another 24,000 girls under the age of 15 are believed to be at a high risk, according to a London-based non-profit group called Foundation for Women’s Health Research and Development.
Speaking in the House of Commons on February 6, British Home Secretary Theresa May said “Sadly, what we see are too many examples of this terrible crime continuing to take place. I think most people would be shocked to know how many young girls within the United Kingdom are subjected to female genital mutilation.”
Female genital mutilation is most common among Muslim immigrants from Africa and the Middle East. Although the practice is illegal under the 2003 Female Genital Mutilation Act, and carries a jail term of up to 14 years, no one has yet been successfully prosecuted.
In many cases, Muslim families often pool resources to fly professional “cutters” to Britain from Africa to perform mutilations on pre-pubescent girls for as little as £40 ($65), often without anesthetics, using blunt knives, razor blades or scalpels. In other cases, girls are flown abroad to their family’s native country to help minimize the risk of detection.
On March 31, an anti-female genital mutilation activist group named Daughters of Eve began hosting workshops in London to encourage men to stop this practice. The workshops, which will run for five weeks, include topics such as an introduction to female genital mutilation, its consequences and the laws surrounding it.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that more than 2,800 so-called honor attacks — punishments for bringing shame on the family — were recorded by British police during 2011. That data was compiled by the London-based Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organization (IKWRO), a registered charity that provides advice to Muslim women and girls living in the United Kingdom, who are often facing forced marriage, honor-based violence, female genital mutilation and domestic abuse.
Although the statistics provide the best national estimate so far, IKWRO believes the real figure could be five times as high. The highest number of honor crimes — which include murder, mutilation, beatings, abductions and acid attacks — was recorded in London, where the problem has doubled to more than five times the national average.
Why I Call Islam Evil – Part 1
Jonah 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
We often think that Evil is synonymous to the word Wicked. However, Evil means Destructive. When God repented of the Evil that he was going to do to Assyria it meant that he was no longer going to ‘Destroy’ them.
Primarily, when I say ‘Evil,’ I am referring to being destructive. The root of ones Evil may be due to the Wickedness in a person’s heart and the ‘destructive’ acts of most people come from the wickedness in that persons heart.
As I have said before, we can call Nazism ‘Evil’ and most people will readily agree. Their atrocities are fresh in our mind and the proof has been established and it is politically correct and acceptable to label Nazis and Hitler as Evil. Yet, it seems now in America that it is NOT politically correct to label Islam as ‘Evil.’ Why? The evidence is available to be examined and I will list it over the next few days. Why is it wrong to call Islam Evil? Because it is a Religion? So if Nazism had some kind of Deity, then it would be wrong? Not in my book!
Examples of Evil in Islam
1. For its Atrocities to Women - Honor Killings
United Nations Population Fund Website estimates that there are 5,000 women who are killed each year in Honor Killings. Clips from the article said:
”Honour” Killings Throughout the world, perhaps as many as 5,000 women and girls a year are murdered by members of their own families, many of them for the “dishonour” of having been raped, often as not by a member of their own extended family.”
“Honour” killings are on the rise worldwide, according to Asma Jahangir, the United Nations special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary and arbitrary executions.”
“The perpetrators of these crimes are mostly male family members of the murdered women, who go unpunished or receive reduced sentences on the justification of having murdered to defend their misconceived notions of ‘family honour…
2. For its Sexual Deviations
Sexual immorality is destructive and harmful. Within Islam, there are thousands that have been and still are being scared emotionally. Mohammad’ example and modern scholars still promote the use of sex to enslave it’s adherents.
A. Pedophilia - (Sex with Children)
Islamic Scholars have declared that the grown man can take a child to be his wife at any age. The only stipulation is that she is to be able to bear his weight on her before they have intercourse.
This was the example of their so called ‘Holy Prophet.’ - He married a six year old girl, Aisha, but did not have sex with her until she was nine years old.
This is not Western propaganda…. it is commonly known within Islam and emulated by its adherents.
The Hadith says:
- Sunan Abu Dawood Vol3 Bk36 N0 4917:Then they brought me to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and he had sexual intercourse with me . I was nine years old.
- Sunan Nasai Bk of Marriage, No 3256:A’ishah said: The Apostle of Allah peace be upon him married me when I was six and had sexual intercourse with me when I was nine and I was playing with dolls.
The Qur’an approves of Sex with Children in Surah 65:4
“Such of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the prescribed period, if ye have any doubts, is three months, and for those who have no courses (it is the same): for those who carry (life within their wombs), their period is until they deliver their burdens: and for those who fear Allah, He will make their path easy.”
- Explanation of Verse (Aya)
This chapter is the chapter of Divorce. If you marry someone and did not have intercourse with her you can divorce them without any waiting period to remarry which was established in Surah 33:49. However, in 65:4 it gives three situations where a waiting period is required before. During the waiting period, there are three conditions:
a. They abstain from sex with each other.
b. The husband is still obligated to care for the wife
c. Neither man or woman can remarry until after the waiting period is complete.
The Three Conditions that requires a waiting period are: (all found in Surah 65:4)
1. If the female has reached the stage of menstruation and passed the stage of mensuration. The husband must wait 3 months.
Surah 65:4a “Such of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the prescribed period, if ye have any doubts, is three months…”
2. If the female has NOT reached her menstruation years yet. The waiting period is 3 months as the situation just mentioned.
Surah 65:4b “…and for those who have no courses (it is the same)…”
3. If the female is with child. The waiting period is until the child is born and perhaps weaned.
Surah 65:4c “….for those who carry (life within their wombs), their period is until they deliver their burdens:

New Jersey Judge Refuses to Protect a Woman from being Raped Because of Shariah Law

Source: Fox News - by Maxim Lott
A New Jersey family court judge’s decision not to grant a restraining order to a woman who was sexually abused by her Moroccan husband and forced repeatedly to have sex with him is sounding the alarm for advocates of laws designed to ban Shariah in America.
Judge Joseph Charles, in denying the restraining order to the woman after her divorce, ruled that her ex-husband felt he had behaved according to his Muslim beliefs — and that he did not have “criminal desire to or intent to sexually assault” his wife.
Shariah is already being practiced in the US within Islamic Centers and Mosque today. Just like is was in the UK before they made Sharia part of the British Legal Code. The difference in the UK today is that the judgments of the Imams in the UK today are now binding and enforced by the British government.

FRIDAY’S SURVIVAL TIPS.
We believe that the Bible teaches us that the rapture is going to be before the Tribulation period. However, Matt 24:5-8 shows us that the signs of this event will be wars, famines, earthquakes.
Therefore… I believe it is wise to make ready for those events and learn some survival skills.
This week – Making Candles from Animal Fat.
Candles — source of light and heat. Most candles made from parafin or bees wax.Animal Fat candles are common called ” Tallow Candles.”
One Steer = 100 pounds of fat.STEPS:
1. Melt the fat by cooking it.2. Strain it in Cheese Cloth to remove impurities. Note: Work to eliminate as much foreign elements. The more you strain it the less Smoke and less Smell you will get when you burn the candle.
3. Melt it again in boiling water — A double boiler method which keeps the temperature from raising above 212 degrees F.. This prevents the fat from getting too hot and catching on fire.
4. Cut cotton strips or string. Dip them into the tallow (fat) and hang them to dry over a frame. This is the wick for the candle.
5. Hang the wicks from a frame and dip them into the melted tallow just enough to coat the wicks with a new coat of tallow but not enough to melt the tallow already in the wicks.
6. Once that coat was dry the process would be repeated again and again to build up the candles to the required size. This process took much more time but produced much more uniform candles.
