Iran and Russia makes Pact
Ezekiel 37 and 38 tells us that there will be a coalition with Persia and the nation of Gog. It seems that one is developing before our very eyes.
Back in January, Iran (Persia) made a pact with Russia (Gog). This event is huge in the circle of prophetic teachers that would be equal to a 9.0 on the richter scale to a seismologist.
The New York Post says,
Iranian authorities are nervous about expected unrest during the elections, and so have called on Russia to help prevent an Iranian version of the “Arab Spring.” But Russia made its support conditional on signing a security treaty with Iran; Tehran complied last month.
There are other signs of change in Moscow-Tehran relations. Last week, Iran played host to Russian warships visiting Bandar Abbas on the Strait of Hormuz in what looks like the opening gambit for a Russian naval presence in the strategic waterway.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has always seemed keen on drawing the Islamic Republic closer to Moscow as part of his dream of a Tehran-Moscow-Beijing axis.
The SCO – Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The SCO was formed in 2001 and is viewed to be a rival to NATO. Recently, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other Central Asian and Far East Asian leaders at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit held in the Kazakhstan capital of Astana.
Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad considers himself to be called by Allah to bring in the Mahdi. As I understand Islamic prophecy….. the Mahdi comes when there is a great war with Israel and Ahmadinejad believes it is his duty to create that war. His constant threats to destroy Israel should not fall on deaf ears. He is bent on picking a fight and if Israel attacks first, which is likely to happen, Iran will be able to claim victim status and get UN support escalate a full fledged war with Israel.

Why the Canaanites were Judged and their Land given to Israel
We have been studying the Israel and Arab conflict and who is the rightful owner of the region that the Bible calls Canaanland or the Promise Land. This brings up a question, why did God take the land away from the Canaanites?
Let’s start with the Jews coming out of Egypt. They knew of their heritage and the promise of Canaan to be theirs. They also knew where it was located, that it was North of them, yet they set out to the South-East because they followed God’s pillar. God explains why he did not send them directly North to Canaan.
Ex 13:17 ” And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt: 18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt. 19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you…..”
21 “And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: 22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.”
Now to the question, why are Canaanites being punished by God?
Because of the idol worship and wickedness – Baal – the Sun God.
Nu 33:52 “Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places: 53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.”
The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were in Canaan which shows us the evil that these people propagated. These people were decedents of Canaan.
Gen 10:19 “And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.”
Gen 13:13 “But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.”
Also, we must remember the curse of Ham for his sin against his father Noah.
Gen 9:25-26 “And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.”
26 “And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.”
God’s judgement on Canaan was ruthless.
Deut 20:16 “But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth: 17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:”
Note what would happen to Israel if they did not follow God’s command to the letter.
Nu 33:55 “But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. 56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.”
UN Bias against Israel
According to a UN Watch report, featured on Canadian TV and now going viral on Facebook, there will be a total of 21 one-sided resolutions targeting the Jewish state in this session of the U.N. General Assembly — and only 4 on the rest of the world combined.

Sept 25, 2012 – Sudan has been elected in the UN to head the HUMAN RIGHTS panel.
Sun News in Canada reported that Sudan has killed, 300,000 in armed conflicts in the nation under the current president.

Isaac – Ishmael Family Feud – 4
The Title Deed of Canaan Land belongs to the Seed of Isaac
To understand the conflicts going on in the Middle-East we have to go our Bible.
The struggle between the Arabs and the Israelis, goes back to the family feud of the children of Abraham.
The struggle between the FIRST born son – Ishmael with the PROMISED son – Isaac.
1. The FIRST BORN SON – Ishmael came on the scene in Gen. 16.
I call this THE SECOND MOST DESTRUCTIVE ACT IN THE BIBLE. The First most destructive Action (Gen 3:6)
Gen 16:11 – Ishmael is given his name from heaven.
Vs. 12 – The description of Ishmael that will be a trait that we will see today in the seed of Ishmael.
- Wild man
- His hand will be against every man.
- Every man’s hand will be against him.
- Live in the ‘face’ paniym of his brethren. (Jews)
2. The Title Deed of Canaan Land – the Promise land — Gen 17:8
“And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”
3. THE PROMISED SON - Birth of Isaac – Gen 17
Vs. 19 – Isaac too is named in heaven – along with Ishmael
Vs. 19 – Covenant is to Isaac
Vs. 20 – Ishmael is promised to father a Great nation – 12 princes.
Vs. 21 – God again confirms that Ishmael does not get the covenant, Isaac get’s it.
4. THE COVENANT IS RELIANT ON GOD – NOT ON ABRAHAM.
Gen 15:9,10 Splitting a sacrifice upon two alters. - Common way to make a contract. Bi-lateral agreement - Two parties would walk through the midst of the sacrifice.
Vs. 12 - God causes Abram to fall into a deep sleep.
Vs. 17 As the sun went down God walked through alone the midst of the alters without Abraham. - Uni-lateral Agreement – Most covenants are bi-lateral and depend on both parties to fulfill the contract. Both walk through the midst of the alters to make the covenant.
Vs. 18-21. Notice the boundaries.

Eid al-Adha
Today all around the world, Muslims will celebrate one of their highest feast – Eid al-Adha.
This feast symbolizes God’s mercy on Abraham by sparing the life of Ishmael with a ram. What???? Yes, Muslims believe that Abraham took Ishmael up to the mount to be killed, not Isaac.
Instead of Isaac and his seed being glorified for his faith, Muslims steal that away and ascribe the glory to Ishmael. But this is not even half the story. Muslims have been trying to steal more than just the history of Isaac but also the land promised to Isaac by God.
The founder or father of Islam is Muhammad and he is a descendent of Ishmael. The reason why Islam has been at war with Israel for 1400 years is because it is a family feud that is filled with hate. However, the hearts that are filled with contempt is coming from the Muslim brothers.
They have a bee in their bonnet that God has favored Isaac over Ishmael and God made it clear who was going to be getting the blessed covenant in Genesis 17.
Ge 17:18 And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!
19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

The British Invented the concept of Palestine which is a thorn in the Flesh for Israel

After World War 2, the League of Nations had disbanded and was replaced by the United Nations. Attempting to appease the Muslim world, the UN AGAIN divided the land promised for a future Jewish state with UN Resolution 181. This land which was called “Palestine” by Great Britain, but the Arabs loudly objected to the idea of a separate nation called Palestine saying that this land was part of southern Syria. According to the Muslim world, there was no Palestine (See Ottoman Map from 1801, top). Resolution 181 specifically divided the land between “Arabs” and “Jews” (no Palestinians existed). This effort to appease the Muslim world was soundly rejected by them.
When Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948, she was immediately attacked by five Arab neighbors. The Arab League Secretary, General Azzam Pasha, declared “jihad”, a holy war. He said, “This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades”. The Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al Husseini stated, “I declare a holy war, my Moslem brothers! Murder the Jews! Murder them all!”
IMPORTANT - Arabs living in Israel were told by the invading Arab armies to leave their homes until the Arab nations had wiped out the Jews. Then, they would be able to return to all the land. However, Israel won the war. Afterward, these fleeing Arabs were not granted citizenship and allowed to assimilate into other Arab nations. Instead, they were put in “refugee camps” and have been used as political pawns ever since.
After the war for Israel’s independence, Jordan ILLEGALLY annexed the West Bank and half of Jerusalem. Egypt ILLEGALLY annexed Gaza.
For nearly nineteen years, Arab nations illegally occupied the West Bank and Gaza. There was no call to establish a 57th Islamic state in these areas and call it Palestine.
In fact the PLO was started in 1964 while Arabs still illegally occupied these lands in question. What land was the Palestinian LIBERATION Organization seeking to liberate? The land occupied by the Jews.

Back on March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here’s what he said:
The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct “Palestinian people” to oppose Zionism.

Syrian dictator Hafez Assad (father of the present dictator) told PLO leader Yasser Arafat, “You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria.”

THE BRITISH BLOCKADE
From the 1930′s to 1948, the British government blocked thousands of Jews from returning to the promise land.
The British were then responsible for administering the area they called Palestine. Displaced person camps run by American, French and Italian officials often turned a blind eye to the situation, with only British officials restricting movement in and out of their camps. In 1945, the British reaffirmed the pre-war policy restricting Jewish immigration which had been put in place following the influx of a quarter of a million Jews fleeing the rise of Nazism in the 1930s and had been a major cause of the Arab revolt of 1936–1939. The British then prepared a massive naval and military force to turn back the refugees. Over half of 142 voyages were stopped by British patrols, and most intercepted immigrants were sent to internment camps in Cyprus.
About 50,000 people ended up in camps, more than 1,600 drowned at sea, and only a few thousand actually entered the Promise Land.
One vessel gained international attention. It was formerly called the President Warfield and renamed Exodus 1947 or as some call it SS Exodus. It was filled with survivors from the German Death Camps –4,515 passengers including 1,600 men, 1,282 women, and 1,672 children and teenagers.
Ten miles out, the British forcibly boarded the Vessel. One crew member and two passengers died of gunshot wounds. No serious injuries to the British Army. It was decided that the emigrants were to be deported to France. However, the Jews refused to disembark and the French refused to cooperate with British attempts to force disembarkation.
London decided to send the Jews back to Germany and said it was the only suitable territory under British control that could handle so many people at short notice.
One hundred military police and 200 soldiers of the Sherwood Foresters were ordered to board the ship and eject the Jewish immigrants back into Germany into the same camps that were killing the Jews under Hitler. Remember, Hitler had killed 6 million European Jews.
The treatment of the refugees at the camps caused an international outcry after it was claimed that the conditions could be likened to German concentration camps. There were reports that the camps were surrounded by barbedwire and guarded by Germans.
Many of the passengers had made other attempts at emigrating to Palestine but were detained without trial in prison camps on Cyprus. Britain refused to acknowledge Israel as a state on 14 May, 1948 until Jan 1949. Upon recognizing Israel, the ‘detainees were released from Cyprus.
My Point…. Britain did not bless Israel but rather apposed them and the consequences of this was the downfall of the British Empire. It started with the dividing of the land and giving it to the Muslims. God took his hand of blessing away from Britain for their treatment of God’s chosen people.
There is a lesson for us in America and I pray we will fear God and stand with Israel.

The Consequences for Turning on God’s Chosen People – Israel
The Bible has made it clear that God chose to bless the seed of Abraham in Gen 12. We find that of the promised son through Sarah, Isaac’s descendents were going to be blessed and the nations that bless the Jews, God will bless. The nations that curse Israel and aid her enemies will be cursed.
We can certainly see that in spite of the terrible treatment Jews get from the rest of the world, they seem to rise to the top. God said,
Ge 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Now the promise of what happens to those who treat Israel favorably or harshly.
Gen 12: 3 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Take note of this passage in Joel. Theologians argue over when this takes place in history but it is clear that God is not pleased when other nations divide or part the land that was promised to Israel.
Joe 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
Britain was given the mandate at the end of World War I by the League of Nations to divide up the Middle East. At the end of the war, the Ottoman Empire was defeated and the Arabs with the Turks were at the mercy of Britain. The British Empire was at it’s height but what they did to Israel started the fall of the British Empire.
Here is what went down. Britain planned to give 95% of the land to the Arabs and reserved 5% for the Jews to settle back in their former homeland. (So far, good)
However, the Muslims do what Muslims do well. They rioted, murdered Jews and created mayhem. To appease the Muslim world, Britain divided the 5% of the land that was set apart for Israel and gave 80% of it to the Muslims in what was called the Trans-Jordan mandate. (Bad move for Britain)
Consequences
Britain ceased to be GREAT from this point on. Look at the all the calamities that has befallen this little Nation that ruled the World. Bit by bit they lost control and power through out the world.

In World War II, Britain was a breath a way from being occupied by Nazi Germany. They have America to thank for that. At the close of the war, the nation was bankrupt. It has America to thank for bailing them out.

US ceases it’s millitary exercises with Israel & starts military exercises with Egypt

This is Shocking
I learned this week that the US has dramatically cut back military exercises with our ally Israel and is now holding military exercises with Egypt.
This report is from Israel National News.
Just days after a report that the U.S. was sharply cutting its participation in a military exercise scheduled with Israel, U.S. planes landed in Egypt Tuesday for a joint exercise, the first since the fall of Hosni Mubarak. Code-named “Eagle Arena 2012,” the exercise will include air and naval forays by US and Egyptian planes and boats, over the country, Sinai, and the Red Sea.
According to Egyptian media reports, the purpose of the exercise is to enable Egyptian forces to practice both defensive and offensive tactics. The specific number of American troops and planes participating in the exercise.
The exercise is one of a series of steps the U.S. has undertaken in recent weeks to build ties with the regime of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi, the new President of Egypt. According to U.S. reports, Washington is set to forgive a billion dollars of Egyptian debt as part of its international assistance program for Egypt. The debt will be dumped in the laps of U.S. taxpayers. Egypt currently owes the U.S. some $3 billion.
Over the weekend, reports in foreign media said that the U.S. was drastically scaling down its participation in a military exercise scheduled for October. Time Magazine said that the U.S. was cutting as many as two thirds of the 1,200-some soldiers that had been scheduled to participated in the exercise, called Austere Challenge 12, and was sharply limiting the amount of U.S. equipment that will be used in the exercise.
This is a serous development and another indication that America is pulling away support from Israel and lending our support to Muslim States. More specifically, the Muslim Brotherhood, a known terrorist organization.
America should be reminded of the scriptural promise, that if we bless God’s chosen people, the apple of God’s eye, he will bless us. If we curse Israel and do things to aid their enemies, we are likely to see God’s judgment. We no longer fear God in America and God will show himself worthy of respect and reverance when he brings judgment on us. Lord help us!

Who are these Palestinians?

There has never been a nation called Palestine or a Palestinian people, currency, capital, or language. Palestine was a term first coined by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 135 AD demonstrating his hatred for the Jews.
The last sovereign nation to call the Promised Land “home” was the nation of Israel which was given by God to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Since 722 BC, Israel has been invaded and “OCCUPIED” by Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, Islam (638 AD), the Ottoman Turkish Empire, and then Great Britain with the Mandates issued by the League of Nations following World War 1.
At no time during Islamic rule was the Promised Land ever called “Palestine.” The Turks considered it a part of Syria. (See Map on yesterday’s blog.)
In 1880, this land was largely a Malaria infested wasteland. Except for a few cities, the land was mostly uninhabited and unwanted. American author Mark Twain toured the Promised Land in 1867 and described it as “desolate”, “unlovely”, and “cursed”
- “Nowhere in all the waste around was there a foot of shade.” He called the land a “blistering, naked, treeless land.”
- Of Galilee, he said, “There is no dew, nor flowers, nor birds, nor trees. There is a plain and an unshaded lake, and beyond them some barren mountains.”
- His summary of Palestine: “Of all the lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince. The hills are barren, they are dull of color, they are un-picturesque in shape. It is a hopeless, dreary, heartbroken land.”
- “If this is the Promise Land – I hope that it is not promised to me.”
Although there has been a continual Jewish presence in the Promised Land since the time of Joshua, Jews from around the world began migrating back in increasing numbers in the late 1800’s because of persecution in Europe and Russia. As the ‘Zionist Movement’ increased, so too, did the desire for Arabs to move to the Land to counter the Zionist presence. At that time, one in five babies died in infancy and the average lifespan for an Arab living in this area was less than 40 years, yet the population exploded from less than 250,000 in 1882 to nearly 1.4 million in 1948. How? The facts demonstrate that these so called “Palestinians” did not live there for millennia, they moved in over the course of 60 years to counter the Jewish presence.
Note: In 66 years they grew 560%. Obviously… These Arabs were not born there…. They immigrated in from neighboring Muslim States. By the was, Yasser Arrafat was not born in “Palestine” he was from Egypt.
As the Middle East had been freed from the tyranny of the Ottoman Turkish Empire, the League of Nations sought to establish new sovereign nations that were capable of self-government. Originally, modern day Israel AND Jordan had been promised to the Jews for the new Jewish state.
Even though over 95% of the Middle East was set aside for Arabs and just a small portion promised to the Jews, the Muslim world rebelled and rioted murdering Jews and causing great unrest in this area governed by Great Britain. In an effort to appease the Arab world, this original mandate was divided and over 80% given to form ANOTHER Arab state with just a small section between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea now promised to the future Jewish state.
After World War 2, the League of Nations had disbanded and was replaced by the United Nations. Attempting to appease the Muslim world, the UN AGAIN divided the land promised for a future Jewish state with UN Resolution 181. This land which was called “Palestine” by Great Britain, but the Arabs loudly objected to the idea of a separate nation called Palestine saying that this land was part of southern Syria. According to the Muslim world, there was no Palestine (See Ottoman Map from 1801, top). Resolution 181 specifically divided the land between “Arabs” and “Jews” (no Palestinians existed). This effort to appease the Muslim world was soundly rejected by them.
The world had accepted without controversy the establishment of Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon (all previously occupied by the Ottoman Empire), but when Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948, she was immediately attacked by five Arab neighbors.
Arabs living in Israel were told by the invading Arab armies to leave their homes until the Arab nations had wiped out the Jews. Then, they would be able to return to all the land. However, Israel won the war. Afterward, these fleeing Arabs were not granted citizenship and allowed to assimilate into other Arab nations. Instead, they were put in “refugee camps” and have been used as political pawns ever since.
After the war for Israel’s independence, Jordan ILLEGALLY annexed the West Bank and half of Jerusalem. Egypt ILLEGALLY annexed Gaza.
For nearly nineteen years, Arab nations illegally occupied the West Bank and Gaza. There was no call to establish a 57th Islamic state in these areas and call it Palestine. In fact the PLO was started in 1964 while Arabs still illegally occupied these lands in question.
In May of 1967, the Arab nations had gathered again at the Israeli borders intent to destroy Israel. The combined nations of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Saudi Arabia had over 500,000 troops, 3100 tanks, and nearly 1000 aircraft. President Nasser of Egypt declared, “Our basic objective will be the destruction of Israel. The Arab people want to fight. We will not accept any…coexistence with Israel…Today the issue is not the establishment of peace between the Arab states and Israel…The war with Israel is in effect since 1948.” Syrian Defense Minister Hafez Assad boasted, “Our forces are now entirely ready … to enter into a battle of annihilation.”
Miraculously, Israel won a resounding victory uniting Jerusalem and taking the land promised them originally in 1920 by the League of Nations including Gaza and the West Bank.
Israel has negotiated and given away land for peace at least six times and every time the Muslim world has responded with only greater acts of terrorism.
Koran 8:39 “Fight them until there is no more fitnah (unbelief, resistance to Islam) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone.”
