There has been a lot of violence in Egypt this past week. More than 600 people were killed on this past Wednesday. The Muslim Brotherhood declared last Friday a “Day of Anger” which resulted in more deaths on Friday.
It is no accident that Friday is the day you see the most demonstrations and violence in Muslim countries. This is the day when Muslims go to the mosques to pray. While at the mosques the clerics preach their sermons and stir the people up. This causes them to go out and commit the heinous acts of violence we see in the news.
You need to understand that it was not a majority vote that put Morsi into power. There were eighteen candidates running president in the election. The Muslim Brotherhood received the most votes in the election but they won the election with only about fifteen percent of the vote.
It wasn’t long after the election that Morsi began to seize power that was not legally his. Not only did he take powers which were not his, he threw out the constitution and put his own constitution, which favored the Muslim Brotherhood, in its place.
There seems to be an unwillingness to call what is happening in Egypt a coup. Whatever you call it, when history writes the story of this incident it should be recorded as the people of Egypt taking back their country.
What is not getting the news coverage that it should is the purposeful attacks on Christians throughout Egypt.
Fox News reports that nearly 40 churches have been looted and torched, while 23 others have been attacked and heavily damaged since Wednesday.
According to International Christian Concern, Islamists in Egypt have violently attacked over 20 Christian churches. The deadly violence by Islamists has claimed more than 100 lives, leaving nearly 1000 more wounded. They also reported that “‘The loudspeaker systems from the mosques were being used to tell the Muslims to gather at Ebad El Rahman and defend Islam because many Muslims had been killed at the Rabba and El Nahda sit-in,‘ [Coptic Priest] Father Tamesy said. ‘The mob, further incensed after gathering went on to loot and set fire to the Monastery of St. Mary and its three churches, he reported. The Mar Mina church and a Baptist church, also in the Minya province, were burned in attacks by pro-Morsi supporters.‘ ”
The Islamists have not stopped at just churches, but have also attacked Christian homes, cars, and Christian Bibles Societies throughout Egypt.
Some may argue that the Coptic churches are not true Christians. Whether this is true or not this is true is not the point here. The point is the Islamists are attacking what they see as Christian. When is the last time you saw Jews or Christians doing this? This type of conduct is not found in Christian teaching. To the contrary, Christians are commanded to love and do good to their enemies. It is, however, not only accepted conduct in Islam, it is commanded. This is the doctrine of Mohammed and those who follow pure Islam will commit these types of heinous acts.
Egypt is considering to Ban the Muslim Brotherhood… Again.
As a result of these acts the Egyptian government has started deliberations on whether to ban the Muslim Brotherhood. This is not the first time this organization has been outlawed. The Muslim Brotherhoodattempted and failed to assassinate President Nasser in 1954. As a resultNasser abolished the Muslim Brotherhoodin Egypt. Many members of the Brotherhood were held for years in prisons and concentration camps. Nasser’s successor, Anwar Sadat, became president of Egypt in 1970 and gradually released imprisoned Brothers and enlisted their help against leftist groups. The organization was tolerated to an extent, but remained technically illegal and subject to periodic crackdowns. In the 1970s, Sadat himself became the enemy of the Brotherhood and other Islamist groups because he signed a peace agreement with Israel in 1979. He was assassinated on October 6, 1981 by groups that were affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood.
I was surprised when the Muslim Brotherhood was voted into power. Once in power, they took power that was not theirs. I was glad when the Morsi was ousted because, as I said before, the people took the government back from this Islamic terrorist group.

BBC News – Pakistan drops charges in Rimsha ‘blasphemy’ cleric case
A Pakistani court has dismissed charges against a Muslim cleric who had been arrested on suspicion of framing a Christian girl accused of blasphemy. To stir up the Muslims there, the imam had accused 14-year-old Rimsha of burning pages from the Koran. The girl had learning disabilities and had no idea what she was burning. Imam, Khalid Jadoon, was never formally indicted, and since witnesses have now withdrawn their accusations he has been freed. We learned that he planted pages of the Koran in a bag containing ash which was seized from the girl. Rimsha was arrested in a Christian area of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, after a furious crowd demanded she be punished. After many weeks in Jail, she was released in September 2012. Rimsha and her family fled to Canada for sanctuary from Islam.

Million Muslim March Scheduled For The 12th Anniversary Of 9/11
Muslims are calling for a million Muslim march on the twelfth anniversary of their attack on us. They are trying to tell us that 9/11 was an inside job. They love the conspiracy theorists who try to blame our government for what happened on that infamous day.
They claim they are the victims. On their website they say “On 9.11.01 our country was forever changed by the horrific events in New York. The entire country was victimized by the acts done on that day. Muslim and Non Muslim alike were traumatized but we as Muslims continue 12 years later to be victimized by being made the villains. To this day every media outlet and anti Islamic organization has committed slanderous and libel statements against us as Muslims and our religion of Islam.”
They also say “These lies told to the American population has made it impossible for us to do true Dawa. Why do we have to defend our religion while doing Dawa? Why can’t we just share the perfection of the Quran and the beauty of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SWS)?
“It is time for us as Muslims in America to stop being defensive and start being proactive by using our right to vote and our freedom of assemble and let our voices be heard by our country and the world. Stand with us help us fight the injustices being committed against us.”
The further say the following: “Whether or not Al Qaeda is completely mythical, the so-called ‘Islamic terrorist threat‘ is pure hallucination. FBI statistics prove that Americans are far more likely to drown in their bathtubs, or be hit by lightning, than to be killed by terrorists of any kind. And Muslims commit only 6% of terrorist attacks in the US – fewer than are committed by radical Jews, and vastly fewer than those perpetrated by leftists and Hispanics.”
Do they really think that Americans are that stupid? I have never heard such nonsense before.
