Listen to today’s broadcast:
Before we get to the main subject I want to bring you up to date on a few things in the news.
The war in Syria is continuing and now they have turned to chemical weapons. No matter how you feel about this, this is a terrible turn of events. Muslims will always be fighting Muslims because this is the nature of Islam. President Obama said that the use of chemical weapons was a red line that ,if crossed, would result us doing something about it. So far he has soft peddled this and it seems that he has no intention of doing anything substantial about this escalation of the fighting.
President Obama has often given strong warning to those who disrupt peace in the world, but when time comes for action he does nothing substantial. This is weakening America because it causes the rest of the world to look at us as a paper tiger.
He tells the Christians that he is a Christian and the Muslims that he is a Muslim. He has bought into Chrislam. He believes he can be both, that he can bring Christianity and Islam together. This, of course, is an impossibility because the two religions are mutually exclusive. He does not have the true God to guide him. Those of us who are the children of God need to pray that God will open his eyes and that He will give him wisdom.
Nidal Hassan is found guilty of his crime of killing 13 American soldiers and wounding some 30 more. This is no surprise. Now he is awaiting sentencing. It is apparent that he wants the death penalty. Will he get the death penalty, which he deserves, or will he get life in prison? The death penalty gives him what he wants, to die as a martyr for Allah.
Good news: North Carolina is now the 6th State to pass American Laws for American Courts. I want to thank all of you listeners who contacted Governor Pat McCrorey and encouraged him to sign the bill. He received pressure from Muslim groups to veto the bill and I learned Friday that he would not veto the bill but would allow it to become law. As of midnight Sunday it is now law in North Carolina.
More good news is that Washington State has passed a similar law for specialty courts. This includes divorce courts, alimony courts, child custody courts, etc. The Governor has signed the bill so it is now law.
Now I want to get back into our discussion on fighting the civilization war. As I said last week our enemies are using the weapons of Ignorance and misinformation against us. If they can keep us ignorant of Islam and Shariah law, then Islam will have the upper hand.
It is important that we get the truth out. That is why you support this ministry. Radio is a great medium for disseminating the truth. I can’t thank you listeners enough for your faithful support. The more stations we can get on, the more people will be informed.
Fortress of Faith is a unique ministry. While other ministries do spend some time dealing with this issue, that is all we do here at Fortress of Faith. Our goal is to get the truth on the real nature of Islam and why it is evil to as many people as possible. Another important aspect of our ministry is teaching how to reach Muslims for Christ. We believe that Muslims are the greatest victims of Islam because it affects their eternal destiny.
2 Peter 3:5 says, “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:”
This passage tells us that people are willingly ignorant of creation. This principle is true for too many today concerning Islam. They just don’t want to know the truth because it might be too upsetting.
Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
Here we see God’s attitude toward those who reject knowledge. Knowledge is our main weapon in the fight for our civilization. I dealt with this in more detail in my last post which you can read here.
In my last post I introduced the next subject I want to deal with. It is the polarizing of the civilizations. We have embraced the idea of equality in all things. This is called relativism. This is the concept that all points of view are valid and there is no absolute truth. It says that they are relative to the differences in perception. In short there are no absolutes. The conclusions are as follows:
- No one culture is greater or better than any other
- No one faith is better than any other
- No one faith is true and any other false.
Relativism is a poison. In is not only entering into our schools of higher learning, it is infiltrating our Bible colleges. It is the enemy of absolutism. It denies that the Bible is absolute truth, that it is the infallible, inspired Word of the living God.
In a relativistic society you cannot stand up and say this is wrong or that is right. You can say this is right or wrong to me, but you cannot impose it upon others. Relativism says that two mutually opposed views can both be right. How foolish is this?
If you are sending your children to the public schools in America today you need to understand that they are being taught what is called “The Common Core.” It is based upon the philosophy that there are no absolutes. If you a child adds 4 + 4 and gets 10 that is OK. This philosophy says that you can’t give a child a bad grade when he gets something wrong because he/she put forth an effort. They give grade points for the effort, not for getting the right answer.
We also need to understand that the culture in the West is vastly different from Islamic culture. In the West we cherish and are blessed with freedom. Our freedoms are defined and guaranteed by our national Legal Code, the Constitution. The source of these freedoms are the God of the Bible and are found in His Word.
Islam is the polar opposite. The very name means submission or surrender, or better yer, slavery.
We must communicate to those who think that Islam is not a treat that the very freedoms that make us what we are, and that we value so much, are in danger of being lost if we continue to ignore the problem facing us. This is why I stand so strongly in favor of laws that state American laws for American courts. We need to get this kind of laws passed in every state, or better yet on the national level. Those of you in Canada should be pushing for the same types of laws in your country.
If we value our freedoms we must be willing to fight for them. If we don’t we will lose them!
