Christian Apologetics toward Islam and Missions to Muslims

Hezbollah On Our Southern Border

Listen to today’s broadcast:

Illegals_Muslims_1Last week 4 men were arrested in the UK and two of them have been charged for planning a terrorist plot. The plot was similar to the attack last month on the shopping mall in Kenya which left 67 people dead.

As I have told you, the new head of Al-Qaeda has been encouraging this type of attack. These are lone wolf attack similar to what we saw at the Boston Marathon. We can expect to see more of these small scale attacks. By small scale I mean attacks that kill 20, 30, 50, or 100 people, not like what we saw on 9/11 where almost 3,000 people were killed.

Al-Qaeda is a Sunni organization and is probably the biggest, best organized, and most well funded of the terrorist organizations. Hamas would be another such organization.

Hezbollah is a Shia organization which comes out of Lebanon. They started in the 1980’s. Lebanon used to be a very strong Christian nation and you will still see a lot of Christians living in the northern part.

The “Arab spring” has resulted in a growing of fundamentalist Islam. It is not that many are leaving true Islam to become fundamentalists, it is that many are returning to true Islam. Salafi Islam used to be a doctrinal school of thought, but now is turning into a political movement. It is a return to the founding principles of Islam. It is growing very quickly and it is a very dangerous movement because it means that the closer Muslims get to their scriptures, the more violent they will become.

There are a number of terrorist groups in the Middle East that have their eye on America, but today I want to put the spotlight on Hezbollah. I started talking about the growth of Muslims on our southern border back in 2011. The terrorists are mixing themselves up with the Mexican drug cartels and are coming in large numbers. There are estimates that 100,000 Muslims have enter Mexico and Central America. They are learning the Spanish language and the customs of these countries so they can mix in with them.

It was reported last June that a number of OTM’s (other than Mexican) have been crossing our borders. As of last year it is reported that there are more than 45,000 OTM’s that have entered our country in this manner.

Here are a couple of reports on this subject:

Growing Hezbollah Presence in Southwest U.S.

Hezbollah Terrorists On Our Southern Border

They are coming in with military type patches on their clothing. Some of these articles have been discarded and found by border agents. They have Hezbollah symbols and one of them has a plane flying into one of the towers in New York City. One of them has the Shahid, or the martyr’s call, which is the only way that a Muslim can be guaranteed of Paradise.

Matthew Lovitt has just written a new book called “Hezbollah, The Global Footprint of Lebanon’s Party of God.” Hezbollah means the party of Allah. In this book Lovitt says Law enforcement officials across the Southwest are reporting a rise in imprisoned gang members with Farsi tattoos” Farsi is the language spoken in Iran. You will find some of these people in Lebanon, and in Syria, but most of them are in Iran.

Here is a further quote from the first article listed above:

His book includes an eye-opening quote from another official: “You could almost pick your city and you would probably have a [Hezbollah] presence.”

Hezbollah’s business relationship with Mexican drug cartels is seen as a driving force behind the phenomenon.

In 2009, Michael Braun, former Chief of Operations for the Drug Enforcement Agency, said that Hezbollah uses “the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts as the drug cartels.”

From this we see that Hezbollah is using the same people for their work as the drug cartels.

Let me quote further from the article:

In April 2010, an individual named Jamal Yousef was apprehended in New York City. During interrogation, he admitted to stealing weapons from Iraq for Hezbollah. Yousef alone knew of a Hezbollah stockpile in Mexico that included 100 M-16 assault rifles, 100 AR-15 rifles, 2500 hand grenades, C4 explosives and anti-tank weapons.

An actual member of Hezbollah was captured in Tijuana in July 2010. His arrest was the smoking gun proof that Hezbollah is investing in building a network in Mexico.

An unnamed senior Mexican military officer confirmed to then-Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC) that Hezbollah was giving explosives training to members of Mexican drug cartels. She wrote a letter to the Department of Homeland Security warning it “might lead to Israel-like car bombings of Mexican/USA border personnel or National Guard units in the border regions.”

Very shortly thereafter, a drug cartel detonated a car bomb for the first time and killed 4 people in Ciudad Juarez. It was described as having “Hezbollah-like sophistication” and a Tucson Police Department reported later said there is a “strong suspicion” that Hezbollah had traded its expertise.

Hezbollah’s presence goes further south than Mexico. The Venezuelan government has been accused of colluding with Hezbollah and Iran for years. It’s long been understood that Hezbollah operates in the tri-border area of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil.

The Wall Street Journal says that Hezbollah is “forging ideologically promiscuous ties with Colombia’s right-wing paramilitary groups and communist guerillas and digging tunnels for drug cartels on the Mexican-American border—the same kinds of tunnel networks it has spent years perfecting along the geographically similar Lebanese-Israeli border.”

Roger Noriega, former Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, could not be clearer in his urgent warnings:

If our government and responsible partners in Latin America fail to act, I believe there will be an attack on U.S. personnel, installations or interests in the Americas as soon as Hezbollah operatives believe that they are capable of such an operation without implicating their Iranian sponsors in the crime.”

Noriega said that in 2011. That was two years ago. The threat has only grown since then.

As you can see, Hezbollah is developing relationships with the drug cartels and digging in along our southern border. It would seem that they are preparing a land assault on us here in the U.S.

We are seeing the number of prisoners with pro-Hezbollah grow, and we are seeing these coalitions with the drug cartels increasing. It is being reported that the executions of the drug cartels are becoming more like what you would expect from Islamic groups. They are being beheaded and their hands and feet are being chopped off. This is a new phenomenon. You can be sure that this is because of the presence of Muslims in the cartels.

What are they planning? For right now all we can do is let our imaginations work. Based upon what we have seen Muslims do already and what they have threatened we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

As I have often said, not every Muslim is bent on jihad. Eighty percent, a majority of Muslims, are not practicing their religion, nor do they have an understanding of the doctrines of Islam. We can be thankful for this.

Those who do study the doctrines of Muhammad, who wish to follow him and be a good Muslim (a scriptural Muslim), are going to give themselves to this type of activity. They believe that the Kufar (the non-believer) is the enemy of Islam. America is considered the “great Satan” and they believe that we are what is keeping them from taking over the world. They believe that if they can take us out of the picture the rest of the world will fall into their hands.

Folks, I think they may be right. Will Europe stand up against Islam? It is not likely. As I have said, Europe is likely to fall to Islam within the next 30 years. If America falls, will Canada stand up against Islam? Again, it is not likely.

The only solution to this is God Almighty. If we want God to stand up to Islam and stop its spread we have to repent, humble ourselves and turn back to Him. God is allowing Islam to rise up as an instrument of judgment upon us. Will we repent? The answer to that question lies with us, God’s children. I hope and pray we will repent.
