The Quickening Process Of Decline

America-in-DeclineToday I want to continue with some things that are happening in Europe that should alarm us. The Gustav Stresemann Foundation, a think tank dedicated to the preservation and advancement of liberal democracy in Europe, published a paper. It warns that national and international Islamic organizations are increasingly putting pressure on Western politicians gradually to criminalize any critique of Islam.

The author of the paper, Felix Strüning, exposes the Islamic lobbying effort by means of “human rights lawsuits.” This is a tactic that we have talked about in the past. We have seen in employed in Europe and here in North America. This tactic is called “lawfare.” It is fighting a war through the legal system. If they can’t shut us up by threats and intimidation, violence, terror, and so forth, then they will try to shut us up by taking us to court. This is why groups like CAIR has teams of lawyers all across the country.

Guess where they are getting their funding? From Muslim oil. As we buy our gas from Muslim countries we make them rich. They use that money to train their lawyers so that they can use lawfare against us.

One individual in Germany finds himself in trouble simply because he has criticized the refusal of Muslim immigrants to integrate into German society. He is a prominent German banker, his name is Thilo Sarrazin. Here is a sample of what Sarrazin said:

“A large number of Arabs and Turks in this city […] have no productive function except for the fruit and vegetable trade […] The proportion of births among Arabs and Turks is two to three times higher than their corresponding proportion of the population. Large parts [of this population] are neither willing to integrate nor capable of integrating. The solution to this problem can only be to stop letting people in […] except for highly qualified individuals and not provide social welfare for immigrants anymore […].”

“Integration is an effort of people who integrate themselves. I do not have to accept someone who does nothing. I do not have to accept anyone who lives from the state, rejects this state, does not reasonably provide education for his children and constantly produces new little girls in headscarves. This applies to 70% of the Turkish and 90% of the Arab population in Berlin. Many of them do not want integration.”

Granted some of the things he said could have been said in a nicer tone. We need to be careful in the manner in which we deal with the Islam issue. As I often say, you are seldom persuasive when you are abrasive. The Bible says we are to speak the truth, but speak it in love (Ephesians 4:15). God has called Christians to be salt and light and when our Christian values are attacked we are to speak up.

I believe that countries have the right to their sovereign laws. The have the right to choose who they allow into their country. They have a right to say what should be expected of those who choose to come into their countries. I know what that is like because I lived overseas for a great portion of my life. As I was a guest in another country I obeyed the laws of that country and did my best to integrate into the society.

Let me continue with this incident from Germany. As a result of what Sarrazin said a group called the Turkish Union in Berlin-Brandenburg (TBB) responded by pressing criminal charges against Sarrazin due to alleged incitement-to-hatred. However, German prosecutors concluded that Sarrazin’s statements were protected by the freedom of expression and they ceased their investigation.

The TBB then took its lawsuit to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD). We spoke of this organization a few months ago. In February 2013, CERD decided that Sarrazin’s statements “contain ideas of racial superiority, denying respect as human beings and depicting generalized negative characteristics of the Turkish population.” CERD also stated that Sarrazin’s statements were “incitement to racial discrimination” because he favors refusing social welfare benefits for Turks and would (with the exception of highly qualified individuals) generally prohibit immigration. They have begun prosecution against him.

We must understand that Islam requires that Muslims not integrate themselves into the culture and laws of other countries. When they are in a minority they have to submit to these things but as they grow in number and strength they are to resist these foreign cultures. Anything outside of Islam is an enemy to Islam. They are to go into non-Muslim countries with the purpose of advancing the cause of Islam, Shariah law, and the Qur’an.

The method for this stealth jihad is to go into a country and set up Muslim communities. While their number is small they are to keep their noses clean. Once their numbers are large enough they are to resist these “foreign cultures.” They are to force the ways of Islam upon the non-Muslims.

This is where Europe is today because of laws that have been passed in the United Nations. For example because of UN Resolution 1618, which makes it a criminal offense to speak negatively against Islam, we see a number of cases where Europeans find themselves being prosecuted. The case of Thilo Sarrazin is just one example.

Author of the report, Strüning writes German political authorities are increasingly bending to pressure from German Islamic organizations by adopting Muslim definitions of ‘Islamophobia’ in public discourse, thus creating legal uncertainty as to ‘who can say what about Islam and Muslims in Germany.'”

They are trying to force this same thing upon North America. We need to be aware of this and do all we can to stop it. If we don’t we will lose the most valuable and precious rights we have in this nation, the rights of the First Amendment (freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion). These are the things that have made North America great. We cannot let Islam steal these from us.

I have said it before but we need to say it often and loud, the key word in Islam is submission (surrender). Freedom is incompatible with Islam. Freedom of speech and thought must be suppressed for Islam to function. Freedom is the enemy of Islam. Since freedom is one of the basic values of Western civilization, Islam must destroy it. If we don’t stand up for our constitutional rights we will lose them.

We are losing our country in so many ways. We are being attacked on just about every front. Islam is not the only force trying to destroy our way of life. There are also the secularists. The atheists are doing all they can to try to destroy our moral fabric.

America has lost its moral compass. God used to be the moral compass in America.

If you have been paying attention to the news you saw what came out of Utah a few days ago. A judge ruled in favor of polygamy. Yesterday we had some news coming out of North Dakota. The North Dakota Attorney General, Wayne Stenehjem, filed a legal opinion last week confirming that the state does not recognize out-of-state same-sex marriages, allowing a man married to another man to come to North Dakota and marry a woman without divorcing his husband. We, and others, have warned that this kind of thing would happen. When you destroy the moral compass then you should expect that anything goes and anything can happen.

Our second President, John Adams said:

There is no government in the world able to make a person to do what is right or able to control those who do not wish to be controlled…..”

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion.”

Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Our founders gave us a Constitution that guaranteed freedom and rights to the people, but our founding fathers believed that we, as a nation, would hold to our Christian principles and because of these principles we would have a moral compass that would keep us from the worst kinds of activities. Without that moral compass, without the working of God in the lives of citizens, there is no law that can control man in his wickedness.

Our founders knew that without a moral compass based upon Christian values our Constitution would fail. It gives us freedom founded upon the internal restraints based upon Christian values.

Thomas Jefferson said:

the precepts of philosophy laid hold of action only… (but Jesus) pushed his scrutinies into the heart of man, erected his tribunal in the region of his thoughts, and he purified the waters at the fountainhead.”

What did he mean by this? He meant that because of the work of Christ in our hearts, His principles are pushed into our hearts and purify the soul, the source from which our actions come. Only the work of God in the heart of a person can cause that person to live a life which is right. Laws and government cannot.

Our founders gave us a Constitution that would work only so long as we remained a religious people. If we lose our morality and our faith in the teachings of Christ, our Constitution and legal system is inadequate to govern us. All crime comes out of the heart. If you can’t control the heart you can’t control crime.
