Christian Apologetics toward Islam and Missions to Muslims

Sharia Law and the Bill of Rights – Part 6

Listen to today’s broadcast:

Islam Bill of RightsAs we continue looking at Sharia Law and the Bill of Rights I want to start by pointing out that Muslims cannot question anything about Islam or the Prophet Muhammad. If they do so they risk being put to death. Even honestly questioning for the sake of understanding is dangerous.
In Christianity we can ask questions concerning those things we don’t understand but under Islam you would not only risk death, Allah can send you to hell for doing so. Christian faith is a faith based upon knowledge and reason. Islamic faith is just blind faith. They must believe just because the imam said it was so.
Remember the story of Youcef Nadarkhani, a 34-year-old pastor from Rasht, about 750 miles northwest of Tehran, was arrested in October 2009 after he protested a government policy that required children, including his 8- and 9-year-old sons, to study the Quran in school. Youcef told school officials that the Iranian constitution allows for freedom of religious practice. As a result, secret police called him before a political tribunal and arrested him for protesting.
The charges were later amended to apostasy and evangelism of Muslims. Youcef was tried on Sept. 21–22, 2010 by the 1st Court of the Revolutionary Tribunal and sentenced to death on Nov. 13 for apostasy. His lawyer, Mohammad Ali Dadkhahwho, given nine years in prison for defending Nadarkhani even though he was a state appointed lawyer.
Shshram says when his family received letters form family members still in Iran, the letters had always been opened by the Iranian government. The more we study Islamic nations the more it reminds us of Nazi Germany in WWII. There is no freedom of speech or freedom to protest.
Twice Hitler said he wished Germany would have been under Islam because it would have advanced his cause. Christianity got in his way. We have no desire to stop a Muslim from worshiping his god however he wants. The issue is that the religious aspects of Shariah law are but a minor part of what it dictates.
We have reached a point in America where many of our government officials want to protect Islam and refuse to recognize that it is in opposition to our constitutionally protected rights. Lets look at some of the things that are happening in America today which attempt to limit our freedom of speech.
As our listeners know, CAIR is a front group for the Muslims Brotherhood and has ties with Hamas. CAIR will do all it can to stop any criticism of Islam. They will use “law fare,” which means they try to use our laws, to stop our freedom of speech.
CAIR did all within it’s power to stop Shahram when he ran for political office. It had every right to do that because we have freedom of speech in
America.
Another major example of this is what happened in Concrete, WA where CAIR defamed a school teacher. There are many other examples of CAIR and other Muslim organizations making efforts to curb our freedoms.
Many of you are familiar with the film “Honor Diaries”, a film that exposes Islam’s treatment of women. CAIR worked to get this documentary boycotted from certain universities because it was offensive. One woman who criticized Islam was banned from one of the universities through the efforts of CAIR.
We have also spoken on the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) efforts through United Nations Resolution 1618 to curb freedom of speech.
Because the Media does not have the courage to speak the truth and expose these things it is left up to private citizens like us here at Fortress of Faith to do the job
for them.
Political correctness is behind the resistance of many to criticize Islam. I have said many times that Political correctness will be the death of this nation. It forces the individual to censor himself and not speak the truth on many subjects, including Islam. He who does not protect his freedoms doesn’t deserve his freedoms.
