Christian Apologetics toward Islam and Missions to Muslims

Islam In Prophecy – Part 2

Listen to today’s broadcast:

(Editor’s note – In today’s broadcast we will look at Islam in prophecy. We need to understand that prophecy, looking forward, is like looking through a fog. The major points are reasonably clear, but the details are difficult to discern. The closer we get to the events, the more clear the details become. Looking back the details become absolutely clear and we see that only God could have predicted them with such accuracy.

The views expressed in this broadcast are the views of Walid Shoebat and are not necessarily those of Fortress of Faith. I don’t say this, not to discredit his views, but to say that there may be some details that we disagree with. I want to emphasize that what Walid has to say is well worth listening to and studying out for yourself.

Some of the things we will be looking at today may be completely new to some of you. You may even take issue with some things you will hear. That is fine. We are trying to discern the details of some pretty cryptic language. We, in America, look at prophecy through the filter of our western culture. As Walid talks to us about prophecy, he is looking at it through his middle eastern culture. We need to remember that the Bible is a middle eastern book.

Listen carefully to the broadcast and then take some time to search the Scriptures to see what fits. If you find some things that you don’t think fits do as when you eat chicken, eat the meat and spit out the bones. The most important thing is to listen with an open mind and don’t reject something just because it is different from what you have been talk. Remember, much of prophecy is written in symbolic language, and symbols can me seen differently by different people.)

shoebatWho is the Mahdi, the Islamic messiah?

The concept of Mahdi is essential to being a Muslim. He is called by Muhammad the peacock of all angels. The Bible describes Lucifer as a beautiful angel. Lucifer is also refered to as a man.

They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; Isaiah 14:16

Saudi Arabia matches prophecy perfectly. In Saudi Arabia they have the tallest building in the world that is used for religious purposes. It is sometimes called “the tower of Babel.” This tower sits upon Mt. Babel.

Al-Sharq Al-Awasat, the prominent Middle East Newspaper, even names it as such “Mount Babel,”: this to say about the massive project that was completed in Mecca:

“The project Towers Of The House is the first project in Mecca … which carry seven towers … “Towers Of The House” is on the area of Mount Babel in Ajyad. The site overlooks directly on the Haram al-Sharif (Holy House [Ka’ba]).”

“is also the largest tower in the world in terms of area. Contractor Bin Laden Group, Saudi Arabia … Classified as the largest building urban in terms of the total area on the face of the globe, where excess space land for the project 1.4 million square meters and consists of 7 towers”.

Instead of waiting to see how the biblical verses regarding “Mystery Babylon” is fulfilled, many ill-informed westerners for centuries attributed the prophetic verses to the Vatican.

Revelation talks about a beast with a woman sitting upon it:

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. Revelation 17:3

In the Bible the word name often means a title. Jesus has a name (title) King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Kaba is decked out as a harlot in scarlet.

Surprisingly the Muslim world hates Saudi Arabia. They hate it because it lives in luxury. She is able to live in this luxury because the kings of the earth commit harlotry with her because of their need of oil.

In prophecy when we see Christ fighting nations, they are always Muslim nations.

The black stone in Mecca is a meteor which fell out of the sky. In Acts 19 this is called and image.

And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, [Ye] men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter? Acts 19:35
