Listen to today’s broadcaast:
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.3 Hos 4:6
Today I want to have a little lighter tone. We have been dealing with serious issues and it is important that we stay informed. Some times, however, it is good to step back and shake off the load for a moment.
I wand to start with what I think is a funny story that comes out of Turkey. The story is sad in some ways but it does have some humor in it. The Turkish deputy leader is now complaining about women laughing in public places. How terrible it must be for Muslim men to see women laughing and enjoying themselves.
The story is sad because Turkey tried to break with Islam after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. It embraced the west and western life. Sadly Turkey is starting to fall back into Islam.
On a more serious note, Israel has been doing this ground assault into Gaza trying to destroy the tunnel network that is bringing there terror into Israel. You can see video footage showing proof that Hamas is using holy places as terrorist facilities by clicking here. This video is taken in a mosque and it shows that this mosque has access to these tunnels used to bring there terrorists into Israel. This shouldn’t surprise us, but the so-called houses of worship are actually staging places for the “house of jihad.”
We have also put this information on our FaceBook page. If you search for “fortress of faith radio” you will find this page. You have to put “radio” because there is another group out there that is also called Fortress of Faith. It is a rock band so make sure you go to “Fortress of Faith Radio.” If we can get 350 more likes on FaceBook we will reach the 1,000 mark. When you reach this mark your whole world changes, so go there and give us a like.
On the broadcast today I played a message I preached a number of years ago. Listen to the broadcast to hear what it has to say. It is a little humorous, but it illustrates how we can think we are going to the right place when we are not.
In Mathew 7 it talks about a wide gate and a strait gate.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Mat 7:13-14
This is a very sad passage because it says that few will go through the strait or narrow gate that leads to eternal life, but many will through the broad gate that leads to destruction.
God only has one way to get to Him and to His Heaven. 1.5 billion Muslims are some of those who will go through the wrong gate. They are told that Jesus is not God and that He didn’t die on the cross. If he didn’t die on the cross our sin debt was not paid. If he didn’t die on the cross there was no resurrection and we are not justified.
Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Rom 4:25
Without Christs death, burial, and resurrection there is no Gospel. Without the Gospel there is no salvation and we will all die in our sins.
As much as we may hate what Islam had done and is doing to America, please understand that it is Islam that is doing it. Don’t blame Muslims for Islam. Muslims are deceived victims of Islam and we must do all we can to rescue them from this violent and oppressive ideology. It is my hope and prayer that you will have a heart to see Muslims saved.
Most Muslims living in the US are cultural Muslims. They are open to the truth. They have been taught lies and have been misinformed. They have been told to stay out of the Bible. Remember, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. We need to get them into the Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in their hearts.
Side note: There have been some complaints about the sound quality of our broadcasts. We have investigated the problem and when we listen to the recordings they are just fine. We have been told that there are some who try to interfere with broadcasts when they deal with subjects they don’t like. I don’t know if this is what is happening, but to this point it is the only explanation we have. We are still trying to determine the reason for some of our broadcasts having poor sound quality.
One other important note: Our offerings were down in July. This will make it difficult to pay our broadcasting bills. If you are able, won’t you please help us out with a gift. Any gift of any size will be greatly appreciated. You can give by clicking on the Donation button in the menu above or by calling 1-800-616-0082.
