Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
Apparently President Obama is putting restrictions on Israel to slow down their getting the missiles they use in the Iron Dome anti-missile protection system. This system detects where the Hamas missiles are going to land and is able to shoot down most of those headed to population centers.
I believe that in the near future we are going to see more trouble in the Middle East coming from Iran. In the Friday prayers this last week the Ayatollah mocked America for our weakness. The Islamic world is laughing at us. Should we wonder why this is happening? This present administration has shown them weakness time and time again. America lacks leadership and is unwilling to take a hard stand against the issues that are causing the turmoil in the world.
We made a mess of Libya, Egypt was a disaster, concerning Syria we said their was a red line and then didn’t follow through. We are not supporting Israel, our only real Middle eastern ally, in the situation in Gaza.
Not only has Obama put restrictions on the shipment of needed missiles to Israel (weapons they have paid for), he is sending 47 million dollars of aid to Hamas. This is supposedly for humanitarian aid, but has we have seen in the past, we know they will use most, if not all, of the money to attack Israel.
We need to remember that it was Hamas that started this conflict, not Israel. They are the ones that kidnapped and murdered the Israeli teenagers,. They are the ones that keep firing missiles at civilian population centers in Israel.
There is another issue here. In the US it is illegal to give money to terrorist organizations yet our government is doing it. I wonder if someone will pick up this story and bring criminal charges against this administration for breaking our laws on this subject. Are we a country of laws, or not?
If this nation continues to show weakness you can be sure that the bullies of the world will take the opportunity to advance their goals. I believe that we will see some things happen soon because the bullies know that Obama only has a short time left in office. They know that our next President may not be as weak as Obama.
There are two other potential bullies that we should be concerned about. There is North Korea and China. They see this administration’s weakness also. I think we already see the flexing of their muscles.
Now let’s move our focus to Iraq. We have lost so much over there. Look at the price America paid to try to liberate Iraq. Obama removed the troops from Iraq, not because it was the right thing to do, nor because it was a wise military decision, but because he had made a campaign promise to do this.
Obama said the war in Iraq was over and that there was no need for us to be their anymore. I don’t think that I need to tell you that the war is not over, and there will be a need for our troops in Iraq until the job is done. Our withdrawal created a vacuum and ISIS has filled it.
Editor’s note: This reminds me of what happened in Viet Nam. Our troops fought with their hands tied by the politicians, and in spite of this they won the war. The sad thing is the the politicians gave it away and all the lives lost, many more than in Iraq and Afghanistan, were lost for nothing. I see the same thing happening in the Middle East.
Let me point out the the leader of ISIS was in US custody. When we left he was turned over to the Iraqis and they released him. The last thing he said to us when we left was “I’ll see you in New York.”
Don’t think this fight is going to be limited to the Middle East. Look at what is happening on our southern border. It is well documented that jihadis have been entering the US by the southern border. It is getting more difficult to stop them from coming because of the new problem with the minors coming across the border. This ties the Border Patrol’s hands because they are too busy changing diapers to be looking for the bad guys. Don’t think that this was not a well thought out plan by our enemies.
If you don’t think terrorists are coming across our southern border then think again. They are coming in with military type patches on their clothing. Some of these articles have been discarded and found by border agents. They have Hezbollah symbols and one of them has a plane flying into one of the towers in New York City. One of them has the Shahid, or the martyr’s call, which is the only way that a Muslim can be guaranteed of Paradise. See our article on this subject.
Terrorists supported by Iran and others are going to central America, learning Spanish, and coming across the border posing as Mexicans and Central Americans. In time we can be sure that there will be terrorist attacks by those who are coming in this way. Don’t be naive, they are not coming here for their health. It won’t be difficult for them do do some real damage.
Let me add that it breaks by heart to see all of the innocent people being killed by ISIS. They are even more brutal than Hitler was. Thousands have been killed simply because they were not Muslims. When we see a country where Islam has the majority voice this is the kind of behavior we can expect.
We, as Christians, have a duty. We cannot remain silent when we see other Christians being killed and evil being propagated throughout the world. The Bible demands that we speak out.
Proverbs 24:11-12 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
This passage tells us that when we, as believers, say we didn’t know these thing were going in, God knows the truth. He will reward us according to our works.
Remember the story of the good Samaritan? Here we see a man in need. The priest and the Levite came by and and both of them ignored his plight. They saw the man’s need of help and did nothing. These are the ones who should have helped, but who had the compassion to help. The Samaritans were considered to be the least of all people, yet it was the Samaritan that had compassion. We need to have compassion for those who are being persecuted and killed.
ISIS is growing in influence. We have recently heard that a group in the Philippines has pledged allegiance to this new caliphate. They are not alone. Do a Google search and you will see that many groups are declaring their allegiance to ISIS. Their wealth is growing at an estimated three million dollars a day because they control some of the oil fields in Iraq.
It is time we wake up and take whatever action is necessary to stop them now. If we don’t WWII will seem like a small war in comparison.
