Today I want to take a look at President Obama’s speech at the G-20 conference in Turkey. He said some appalling things, things that should shock us, things that are shameful about the crisis in the Middle East. He refused to admit his fault in the handling of ISIS.
I also want to talk about the refugee crisis, the refugees that are coming into Europe and are targeted to come to America.
Before I get into these subjects I want to remind you that we are in our fundraising month. We try to limit the times we make appeals for financial support to once in the spring and once in the fall. Sometimes we really have to push the issue because our bank accounts are running low. This is the situation we find ourselves in right now. Our goal at this time is $30,000.00. We usually start our fall drive in October but this year we got started a month late. As a result we find ourselves struggling to get our bills for air time paid. If you can help us with any donation of any amount it would be a great help. You can do so by calling 1-800-616-0082.
We have a couple of campaigns we are offering at this time. One of these campaigns is what we call Sponsor a Day. We are on 50 stations for our daily broadcast and another 250 stations for our weekly broadcast. Fundraising for the weekly broadcast is done on those stations, but today we are trying to raise funds for the daily broadcasts. It costs us about $200.00 a day for the daily air time. Maybe you could sponsor one day of broadcasting by giving a gift of $200.00. If the Lord has blessed you with sufficient means, maybe you could sponsor a couple of days, or maybe even a week. If you can’t sponsor a day at $200.00, maybe you could split it into for monthly payments of $50.00. For those who join this campaign we have a special gift. Shahram Hadian, our co-host for the weekly broadcast, has just finished a DVD on the true face of Islam. He has made this available to those who sponsor a day.
Our other campaign is what we call our Army of Ten. This is a pledge of $10.00 a month on a continuing basis. This is a tremendous help to our ministry.
Again, if you can help in any way, call us at 1-800-616-0082. You can also give by clicking the Donate tab above.
Now let’s get into the subject for today.
President Obama said some things that, in my opinion, were embarrassing in a speech at the G-20 meeting Turkey yesterday. It is apparent that he has no true passion in his handling of the war with ISIS. He does just enough to try to appease those who think we should be doing something. He knows that if he puts troops on the ground it is an admission that he made a mistake when he pulled the troops out of Iraq.
When he pulled the troops out of Iraq he created a vacuum which was filled by the rise of ISIS. Another thing he did which made the problem worse was the way he supported the rebels in Syria.
The latest consequence of his mishandling of the situation is whet happened in Paris last Friday. We are going to see more of this type of thing in the future.
All people who cherish freedom are the enemy of Islam. This alone is enough to make them hate us. You don’t even have to be a Christian. Remember, Islam means submit. Liberty and freedom are the exact opposite of their ideology. Because of this Islam is at war with all who hold these values.
It is because of our Christian values that we in America love freedom and liberty. This makes us a target of the wrath of Islam.
Videos put out by ISIS this weekend threaten the capitals of all nations who are involved in the fight against their terrorism. American cities are not alone, Canadian and other cities are also targeted in these videos. We must deal with the ISIS problem.
Obama spent his time in his time in Turkey blaming others for the problem. Here are some of the things he said:
“We have the right strategy and we’re going to see it through,” Obama said. “There will be an intensification of the strategy we have put forward, but the strategy we have put forward is the strategy that will ultimately work” though it will take time.“It is not just my view but the view of my closest military and civilian advisers that that would be a mistake…..”if folks want to pop off and have opinions about what they think they would do, present a specific plan. If they think that somehow their advisers are better than my chairman of my Joint Chiefs of Staff and the folks who are actually on the ground, I want to meet them. “
I want to spend the rest of my time looking at the problem of the Syrian refugees. Obama said very clearly that he has no intention of slowing down the bringing of these refugees into our country. He tried to shame those who want to slow down the process by saying they don’t have a heart or compassion for those in need.
America already takes in 70% of the refugees of the world. A question that must be asked is, why aren’t the Muslim states in the Middle East taking them in? Shouldn’t states like Saudi Arabia have a heart for these people also? They have the space and the finances to take them in, but they won’t take any of them, not even one.
Why won’t they take them in? Because they know who these people are. They know that ISIS has infiltrated the refugee population and they don’t want them to destabilize their countries.
The US has already accepted 1,500 Syrian refugees since 2011. The White House has said that they are going to bring in 10,000 more in 2016. We should be concerned about this.
Allan West has a map showing where Syrian refugees are already situated in America. The Washington Post has three maps that show which states are receiving them. These maps show the information for 2012. You will see that California, Texas, and many of the states on the east coast have receive most of these refugees.
Since the Paris Attack 25 US governors have said the will not take these refugees. The reason they are saying no to the refugees is because there have been two congressional hearings in which the FBI Director has said we have no way to vet these people. We have heard the same thing from the Home Land Security Director. We don’t have boots on the ground, there are no police there, there are no records to check, and we don’t know who these people are. It is easy to get false passports through the black market in the Middle East.
We do know that two of the attackers in France came in through the refugee program. This confirms what ISIS has said. They told us they would use the refugees to infiltrate the western nations with their army.
Here are the states that have said no: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin.
Meanwhile 72 House Democrats did a photo op on the steps of Congress to ask Obama to take 100,000 Syrian Refugees. I think these refugees should be put into their voting districts. Let those who put these Democrats in office bear the brunt of this folly and see if they will be happy with having voted these people into office. This really illustrates the divide in this nation between those who have common sense and those who have no sens at all.
As if this wasn’t enough, Obama has released 5 more Gitmo detainees. They have been released to the United Arab Emirates.
The whole idea of Gitmo was wrong from the get go. I don’t like these people being released, but we should have handled the whole affair differently. I think this was Bush’s major mistake in handling the war on terror. We should have treated these people as prisoners of war. They committed acts of war against us when the attacked us.
France called what happened in Paris an act of war and declared war upon ISIS. In contrast, we declared war, not on a state, but upon terrorism, Islamic terrorism by the way. Those who were capture, were captured while we were at war with them. This makes these people prisoners of war. It is wrong for us to hold them without due process. We should have tried them in a military tribunal, and if found guilty, they should have been executed under military law. If they were not found guilty they should have been set free.
I want to end today bay talking about an ABC report on the shooting in Tennessee which killed four of our military personnel. The FBI Director, James Comey, told reporters during a visit to Nashville’s FBI field office on Friday that they were not going to release the motive of the killer. Here is what he had to say:
“Sometimes the way we investigate requires us to keep information secret. That’s a good thing. We don’t want to smear people,”
This guy is a murderer and we don’t want to smear his reputation? I believe the real reason they won’t publish his motive is that Obama won’t let them because he doesn’t want us to know that it was because of Islam.
This kind of thing needs to be exposed. You will get the truth here at Fortress of Faith and your support makes it happen. If you want to help us stay on the air you can do so by calling us at 1-800-616-0082.
