What is the motivation for what is going on? What is the motivation behind Black Lives Matter? The motivation is the overthrow of our culture, it is to destroy our nation. We have to be wise enough to see that they are using race as a vehicle. This is not to say that there are not racist people, but it is the Louis Farrakhan‘s that are the racists. It is Obama who is the racist. They are the ones promoting racial unrest and using race as a dividing factor.
We don’t care about the color of a person’s skin, we care about what is in a person’s heart. The Bible says that God created all men in His image. It amazes me to see black pastors promoting racism. Anyone who is a follower of the Word of God should not be promoting racism.
It you want to highlight what is going on in the black community, highlight crime. Let’s do something about the black on black crime. Breitbart has an article on 5 devastating facts about black on black crime.
FACT 1. Over 1,400 more black Americans murdered other blacks in two years than were lynched from 1882 to 1968.
FACT 2. Black People (mostly men) commit a grossly disproportionate amount of crime.
FACT 3. Despite making up just 13% of the population, blacks committed half of homicides in the United States for nearly 30 years.
FACT 4. Chicago’s death toll is almost equal to that of both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, combined.
FACT 5. It would take cops 40 years to kill as many black men as have died at the hands of others black men in 2012 alone.
We need to know these facts. We can’t let the lies promoted by the racists fool us.
What Does The Bible Say About Race?
If we had a Christian world-view race would be a non-issue.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)
We are all one in Christ Jesus. We are all God’s creatures.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:26-27)
There are those who try to twist Scripture to make it teach what it does not. Some take the passage in Genesis 6 where Cain was marked and make it say that he was marked as a black man. They use this to put a curse upon black people. Others say that Ham, after the flood, was cursed and that is where the black man comes from. There is absolutely no biblical evidence for this interpretation. It is man perverting Scripture to support hate of one group toward another.
There is no doubt that there have been divisions over race. It is not just between blacks and whites. The Jews are a hated race, especially by Muslims. This kind of division is not a biblical perspective. It comes from the evil hearts of men.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9)
When we look into the DNA we learn that all of us have the code to be black. There are 4 elements with in the DNA that determine our skin color. All of them are in all of us, they are just arranged differently.
Culture, how a person is taught to think and react, is what is important. If you take the Bible and God’s principles out of the mix you are in trouble.
Listen to what John Adams had to say in a message to the Officers of the First Brigade of the Third Division of the Militia of Massachusetts:
“…because we have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion…Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Laws cannot be made to control mens passions. There must be some kind of internal moral and religious control. No government or constitution can keep men in line.
America has fallen into corruption, lawlessness, and debauchery. We have people running for office that should be in prison. We have riots it the streets and people calling for the murdering of police.
We need to recognize that apart from God’s Word governing us, we can all become bigots, racists, haters, etc.
I find it deeply offensive when I here people say, “I’m African American, I’m this American, I’m that American.” Why can’t we just all be Americans? We are all God’s creation, and are all of equal value.
We shouldn’t look at a person’s skin color, we should look at his character. We should look at how one lives his life, and whether or not he is following God’s precepts. These are the things that matter.
Hate crime laws are foolish because no amount of laws can stop people from hating each other. We need the healing of God which only comes through repentance toward God, and through His indwelling Spirit.
When you have those like President Obama who promote a racist narrative, you get what we have today. The promotion of the racist narrative is evil. We published an article on The BiblicalView of Race back in 2014.
I hope you don’t get caught up in this gun control push. Guns are not the problem, people are. Look at this interesting chart:
This is quite interesting, isn’t it? I wonder what we would find on the Dallas shooter.
There is no doubt that America has a history of slavery, but people have their history wrong. It was not the Republican Party that was the party of slaves, it was the Democrat Party. We are not advocating for any particular party, but the facts are the facts. The Republican Party was formed to eliminate slavery. The Republican Party brought us the civil rights laws and the Democrat Party fought it all the way.
Some black leaders are starting to compare the inner cities with slavery. It is the welfare mentality that is enslaving many black people. It is the Democrats saying vote for us and we will give you all these “free things.” The cities with the biggest problems are all run by Democrats. It is time to wake up and see the truth.
