Christian Apologetics toward Islam and Missions to Muslims

Hillary Clinton’s Actions

hillaryIf you listen to our broadcasts you know that we are in our fall fundraiser this month. I want to let you know where we are. Our goal is $30,000, and as of last Friday we have had $13,455 come in. This means we still need $16,545 to reach our goal. I want to praise the Lord for your willingness to give to support this ministry. Without your support we cannot do what we do.

Today I want to talk about some of the things that Hilary Clinton has done. We are in a very important election season and I believe you need to be aware of these things.

I think all of us would say that this has been a very interesting and different election cycle. Hillary has a record, and that is good and bad. She can say, here is what I have done. If it is good, it will help her, but if it is bad, it is going to hurt her. What I am going to share is not going to help her, especially in the minds of Christians and conservatives who are concerned about the growth of Islam in our country.

When Hillary was Secretary of State, she was involved it what is called the “Istanbul Process.” This is known as UN Resolution 16/18. It is from the Human Rights Division of the United Nations. This resolution has been passed for the past 15 years. I think the first time it was introduced was in 2001. In the UN there is a group called the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation). It has 57 member states, 58 if you count Palestine, which is a provisional state. These nations have agreed to vote together on various subjects. It is the largest voting block in the UN.  A large portion of what is going on in the UN is under Islamic control.

Resolution 16/18 made it a criminal offense to denigrate the religion of Islam. If anyone “blasphemes” the Prophet, Muhammad, Allah, or the Qur’an, it is to be treated under international law as a criminal offense. Each year they brought it up for ratification. It doesn’t mean that every nation has to abide by it, but it does set precedence, and puts pressure upon member states to comply. If a nation comes to the UN, and has not brought their laws inline with the international standard, they cannot expect the help they need.

The United States has voted against the resolution every year until Hillary Clinton’s involvement. in 2011, she and the OIC delegates went to Istanbul. She co-chaired the meeting with the leader of the OIC. The purpose of that meeting was to tweak the language of the resolution to make it acceptable to the United States. They did not come to a solution, so in 2012 they met again in Washington DC. Again, they did not succeed in their goal. They had a third meeting in 2013 in London and finally come to an agreement. They changed it from the denigration of Islam, to the denigration of religions. The problem is that, in America, we have the First Amendment which protects religion, and also protects free speech.

The UN Ambassador under President Obama approved it with the new language. Of course, everyone knows what religion we are talking about. It is not Christianity, it is Islam. We need to remember that Hillary Clinton was a major part of this.

If this is not enough to convince you of the goals of Hillary Clinton about religious freedom, there is another issue you need to be aware of. She said that have:

…deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.

She was speaking specifically about the issue of abortion, the killing of the unborn. Snoops, a website that supposedly debunks false things that are put out on the internet, says that she didn’t say this. Well, I want you to listen to her saying it.

The part I want you to hear starts at 8 minutes and 26 seconds into this video. She is essentially saying that if your deep seated religious beliefs are against abortion, they must be changed.

She said this in April, 2013 speaking at the 6th Annual Women of the World Summit. Regardless of what Snoops is saying, she actually said it.

Why is this important? I don’t know how a Christian can allow someone who is for the killing of the unborn become the President of our country. How do you justify your conscience?

In Proverbs Chapter 6, the Bible tells us there are 6 things that God hates, and the 7 are an abomination unto Him.

These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. (Proverbs 6:16-19)

The third item in the list is those who shed innocent blood.

Hillary Clinton is not just for abortion, she is for partial birth abortion. This is were the child is partially born, and before birth is completed, it is brutally killed. What kind of person would support this kind of thing?

I want to ask you an important question. Who is the less moral person, a Muslim who kills in the name of his religion because he believes he is doing God’s work, or a mother who says this baby is inconvenient for me, so I am going to give the doctor the permission to kill it? As horrible as the first is, the second is much more immoral. How can a mother to such a thing? The vile condition of our country in allowing things like this, and many other forms of debauchery, makes it easy to understand why God would judge our nation.

We need to pray for this election, and for our nation. We don’t have a lot of good choices, but we do have one side that supports things like I have discussed today. My vote is more about what and who I am voting against, than who I am voting for. Although I don’t highly regard the Republican candidate, I do highly regard the platform he says he is going to stand for. I don’t know if I can trust him to carry it through, but I do know that I can trust Hillary to carry forth her platform of supporting all forms of debauchery, and of taking away our rights as spelled out in the Bill of Rights.

I am going to have to end here, but we need to pray for righteousness, and for our country to return to the principles upon which it was founded.
