I want to brace you for what I think is going to be a Hillary win in the upcoming election. It is not important that Christians win, but it is important that we stand and do what is right. Christians are really perplexed in this election and I believe that Hillary is going to win. Christians don’t know what to do and many of them have different ideas of what they will do.
This really started 8 years ago. God began to lead in my heart, and to show me, from what I was seeing in Europe, why God is judging the west for our sin. I see this judgment coming to America. God called me off the mission field to come back to my home country to warn my country and our neighbors to the north about the coming judgment of North America for our sins. Is He not Justified for doing so? Are not our sins great before God?
I have been praying for many years that God would not give us what we deserve, but that He would give us what we need. I have been praying for a God fearing leader that would that would stand for His righteousness and His standards. A leader that would bring our nation closer to God.
I need to point out that the answer is not in the White House. Even if we had a God fearing President, it would not fix our country’s problems. The solution to our problems is in the church house. It will require a bottom up fix, not a top down fix. The only way to avoid God’s judgment is to repent, to fall on our knees, to cry out to God for forgiveness of our sins and our rebellion against Him. We must humble ourselves and fall on His mercy. I am afraid that we will not do this voluntarily. God is going to have to bring some pain to bring us to our knees.
God’s judgment is coming in different forms. Islam is one of them, that is why we talk about it a lot. His judgment is also coming in our financial affairs and other areas. When God judged Israel, He would bring pestilence, famine, or an enemy. He always brought the preachers first, but they wouldn’t listen to them, they wouldn’t repent. It is my hope that the pain will bring repentance, and the repentance will bring revival. There is a possible return to God, but it also may be that God is preparing the return of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
I believe that God is going to give America what she deserve. We are going to have Hillary Clinton as President. One of the reasons this will happen is that Christians cannot fully embrace, and get behind Trump. They had their problems with Romney, didn’t they? Many of them just didn’t vote. They said they could not vote for the lesser of the two evils. Because they chose not to vote, they allowed the election of a Muslim. If you haven’t figured that out by now, I don’t know what to tell you.
Those who did not vote were aiding the coming of God’s judgment because they thought that is what we deserve. I believe judgment is coming, but I don’t think that I should be part of the instrument that brings it. Because we see it coming doesn’t mean we are to make the path clear for it. We are to stand for righteousness on every corner. We shouldn’t just step back an open the door to let it in. I believe this is foolishness, and I don’t see a biblical example of this kind of thing.
In Proverbs 3, we are told that if it is in the power of our hand to do good, do it.
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. (Proverbs 3:27)
If it is in your power to vote for a candidate that will move our nation closer to what is right, you should do that. This is better than allowing your hand to be used to bring in more ungodliness (abortion, same-sex marriage, etc.).
Those who say they can’t vote for the lesser of two evils don’t understand it is not an issue of two evils, it is an issue of two futures. Which future are we going to have? Are we going to have a future with Trump, who is not a moral man, or with Hillary, who is certainly less moral than he is. If what Trump said on the video that was released surprised you, I don’t know where you have been. I have never thought that he had high moral integrity.
Tony Perkins of the Family Research Counsel put out a wonderful video that really explains things. Each party has a platform which is voted on at their conventions. The Democrat platform says nothing about protecting religious freedom in America. The Republican platform says it is a big issue, and they will protect our right to practice our religion in every aspect of our lives. The Republican platform says they will work to repeal the Johnson Amendment that is used to intimidate and silence preachers in the pulpit. The Democrat platform wants to fund elective abortions with taxpayer money. They want every woman to have the right to kill her baby if she chooses to do so. The Republican platform wants to end abortion because they consider it murder. The Democrat platform supports same-sex marriage, while the Republican platform supports traditional marriage. The Democrats don’t want families to have school choice, they want them in public schools where they can control the political thinking of young impressionable minds. The Republicans want families to be able to choose where their children go to school.
Probably the most important difference is concerning judicial appointments, especially when it comes to the Supreme Court. Democrats want to appoint judges who will legislate from the bench, while Republicans want judges who will uphold the Constitution. This is important because it does not just affect the next election cycle, it affect the next 3 to 4 decades. The next president will appoint as many as 4 justices to the Supreme Court.
I want you to understand that this election is about two futures, not two candidates. Before you decide for whom you will vote, you need to understand what each candidate stands for. This doesn’t seem to matter to some Christians who are not going to vote, or are going to vote for a third party candidate who has no chance of winning.
I believe, as I said before, that God is going to give us what we deserve in this election. I believe this is because Christians are refusing to vote based upon the principles represented by the platforms, and are voting based upon the personalities of the candidates.
I hope I am wrong, but this is what I am seeing. We need to be prepared for this. The future of America is in the hands of Christians. We will either have a president whose platform is against God and His principles, our we will have one whose platform supports God and is principles. The choice is ours.
