We are looking at the Arab/Israel conflict this week because of what happened in the UN. They have condemned Israel for building homes in a part of Israel they consider to be a restricted area. They are calling Israel a foreign occupier, and our Secretary of State, John Kerry, is supporting the UN message.
We have looked at the 3 title deeds showing clearly that Israel is the owner of this land. The Bible clearly shows that God gave this land to Israel through Abraham and Isaac. The Bible makes it clear that this land was given to Isaac, not Ishmael.
And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, [and] with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. (Genesis 17:18-21)
The Arabs, in their new scriptures, the Qur’an which came through an Ishmaelite, an Arab who claims he got new revelation from God, change the narrative to say that the land was given to the Arabs and that Ishmael is the blessed son, not Isaac.
We started looking at the third title deed yesterday, and I want to continue on this subject today. The first two deeds limit the land to the land of Canaan, which is roughly what Israel has today. This third title deed greatly increases the land that was given to Israel.
Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. (Deuteronomy 11:24)
This deed gives them larger boundaries. The southern boundary is the wilderness and Lebanon is the northern boundary. The eastern boundary is the river Euphrates, which, as we saw before, is in Iraq, and the western boundary is the “uttermost sea,” the Mediterranean sea.
Yesterday we saw that Israel’s wanderings were in the Arabian peninsula, and that the Arabs are quite aware of this fact. This is why Osama Ben Laden said:
What will the rulers do if Israel starts to expand its unfair and unjust settlements, which the leaders do declare as such, beyond its currently known boundaries, and says, our borders extend to Medina.
The Arabs know that when Israel wandered in this part of the land, they left their mark behind. They know this because of the location of Mt. Sinai. They know that it is not in the Sinai peninsula like we have been taught. This is where the Catholic Church has placed it, but the Arabs know it is in Saudi Arabia.
While the Jews were wandering in the Arabian peninsula, they left their mark behind. There are petraglyphs of sandals all over the peninsula. I cannot prove that they were left by the Jews, but let me give you some history. In that land, at that time. When a person made claim to land, they laid their sandals on the land.
Since God had promised Moses that every place their feet trod would be theirs, they may have been shouting, Glory to God, this is our land. The promise was reaffirmed with Joshua.
Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. (Joshua 1:3)
There is something interesting about their cloths and their shoes, they did not wear out during their 40 years of wandering.
And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. (Deuteronomy 29:5)
While their sandals did not wear out, they did trace them upon the rocks where they wandered. This was to symbolize that the land belonged to them. While this may not be sufficient to prove the point, I have found in my studies that this is one of the things that has gotten the attention of the Muslim scholars.
I feel that the most important evidence is the location of mount Sinai. The Muslims place it in Arabia, in the area of Midian. Remember Midian? Midian is where Moses went when he was running from Pharaoh. He remained there for 40 years. It was from here that God called him to go back to Egypt.
Before I get into what the Bible says, let us look at what the Qur’an has to say. The Muslims celebrate 2 people from Midian. The first is Jethro, the father in law of Moses. There is also a prophet named Shuayb. Shuayb is mentioned 11 times in the Qur’an, and is known as the eloquent prophet. He was a contemporary of Abraham. In chapter 7 of the Qur’an, we see him being sent to Midian, which is the north western part of Arabia. Chapter 11 finds him living in Midian. In chapter 19, his is living on the right (east) side of Mt. Sinai. This puts Mt. Sinai near Midian.
You and I wouldn’t take the Qur’an as an authoritative source, but I hope we would take the Bible as an authoritative source. In Exodus Chapter 3, the Bible tells us that Mt. Sinai is in Midian.
Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, [even] to Horeb. (Exodus 3:1)
The mountain of God and Horeb are in the same mountain range as Mt. Sinai. You can see both mountain peaks from one another according to the book of Isaiah. In verse 12, while at the burning bush, God tells Moses that the people of Israel would serve Him on “this mountain.”
And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this [shall be] a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. (Exodus 3:12)
God told Moses that when they came out of Egypt, they would come to Midian and worship Him on this mountain. As an aside, God told Moses to take off his shoes because he was standing on holy ground.
Here is the same story told in Acts Chapter 7:
Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons. And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. (Acts 7:29-30)
This tells us that the burning bush was in the wilderness of mount Sina (Sinai).
If this is not enough, Galatians Chapter 4 gives us more proof that Mt. Sinai was in Arabia.
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. (Galatians 4:25)
It is clear from the Bible that Mt. Sinai is in Arabia, and not in the Sinai peninsula as we have been taught.
As further proof, we know the place where the Hebrews crossed the Red Sea.
There is a sandy beach called New-ava Beach at this point that fits the description given in the Bible of the crossing point. There has been research done by Ron Wyatt, which gives much evidence showing this as the crossing point. (The photos shown here are from Ron Wyatt’s website.)
They have even found the remnants of the Egyptian chariots.
They were allowed to photograph these items, but they were not allowed to remove them.
The Bible tells us where they camped.
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. (Exodus 14:2)
This location is still called Pihahiroth today. The beach is large enough for them to have camped there. There is no way out except back through the gorge, and Pharaoh and his army was back there. Had God not opened the sea, there would have been no escape for the people of Israel.
When you get to the other side, there are many other things that fit the biblical record. Remember when Moses struck the rock and water came forth? There is a 60 ft. rock with a split right in the middle which has been eroded by water. There is evidence that there once was a lake just below this rock.
This place is called “The Mount of Moses” by the local people. There is a large altar there with a picture of an Egyptian cow.
This indicates that this may be where they made the golden calf.
There are also petraglyphs of the Menorah, the seven branch candlestick. Who else would draw a Menorah?
We can’t prove that the sandals were drawn by the Jews, but who would say that it was not the Jews who inscribed these Menorahs in Saudi Arabia?
The evidence is there. The Bible tells us that Mt. Sinai is in Arabia.
Who owns the land? The Bible says that everywhere they walked shall be theirs. Look at the map that shows what should be Israel’s according to this promise.
