The Women’s March and Real Oppression

Yesterday I wrote about abortion is a sin and tied it to the women’s march in Washington on Saturday. I want to revisit this because I didn’t get to cover everything I wanted to cover. One of the main themes of the march was that women was their right to choose. The right to choose what? TO KILL THEIR BABIES! They feel they are at risk of loosing this so-called right.

Let me remind you that just because man makes a law, doesn’t mean that it is right. If God’s law says something is sin, it is still sin when man’s law makes it legal.

I believe the women of Planed Parenthood, the women of this movement feel at risk, and I understand why. We will see an appointment of a conservative justice to the Supreme Court by President Trump. It is likely that he will appoint a justice that is pro-life, against the idea of killing the unborn, and who will stand for conservative values. The left is afraid they will lose control of the issue of abortion. A couple of days ago, President Trump signed an executive order preventing the use of taxpayer money for foreign aid if it will fund abortions. I don’t understand why we were sending money overseas that would help fund abortions in the first place.

Yesterday the House did pass a bill (HR7) that permanently bans the funding of abortions in our country. The vote was 238 to 183. It is called “No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion.” I think the Senate may have passed it also. If I understand correctly, it does cut off the funding of Planed Parenthood. It does cut off any funding for abortions by Obama Care. It will take a little while for the repeal and replacement of Obama Care. I think it is wise to wait until they have the replacement before they repeal the Affordable Care Act. It has been a while since we heard good news like this coming out of Washington.

The Democrats have lost so much power across the country. They have lost governors and legislators in many states, they have lost control of Congress, and now they have lost the Presidency.

We have seen what happens when we give the control of our nation to the godless. I hope that what we have seen in this election means that America is waking up and seeking that what has been happening is wrong. I pray that the winds of change will lead us back to God.

We need to be careful and not think that his is revival. Holy Ghost revival is something completely different. Revival is not going to come from the White House and Washington. Revival comes from Heaven to the children of God. We may be in some kind of reformation in our country and bringing it back to where it should be in some ways. I am thankful for this, but it is not revival.

At the march there were some girls holding a message that is very offensive to us as Christians. The message shows their hatred toward God. It said:

If Mary had had an abortion, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Think about this. They are talking about Mary, the mother of the Lord Jesus Christ. They are saying that if Christ had not been born, we wouldn’t be in this mess. What mess are they talking about? They are talking about us not having a righteous standard. They are trying to get rid of any standard that says thay can’t do exactly what they want, no matter how evil it may be.

In 2 Peter 3 it says:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, (2 Peter 3:3)

The message of this poster is a prime example of this verse in action. This message is a message of scoffers mocking our faith. The picture shows that they have no shame, just indignation in their hearts toward God, toward Christ, toward a righteous moral standard. They want to live by a standard where everyone does that which is right in his own eyes. They don’t want to live by God’s standard. If Christ had not come, they believe they wouldn’t have the mess of a righteous standard. This message is shocking and blasphemous.

Would to God that the fear of God would come upon this nation once again. There is no other solution to our problems.

If you watched the march, or have seen pictures of it, you know just how vile it was. One of the actresses was complaining that they have to pay taxes on women’s sanitary products, as if women were being abused because they have to pay taxes on these things.

The women in the West have no idea what oppression is. Yesterday there was an article by the Gatestone Institute entitled “Yazidi Girls Sold as Sex Slaves while Women March against Trump.” While these women were marching against President Trump, women in the Middle East were being sold as sex slaves, some of them for a few packs of cigarettes. Some of those women and girls have had to watch 7-, 8-, and 9-year-old children bleed to death before their eyes, after being raped by ISIS militia multiple times a day.

How shallow are these women in the march. They are complaining that they have to pay taxes for feminine hygiene products while real abuse is going on in the Middle East.

In Saudi Arabia, which is a very rich and modern country, women can’t even get a drivers license. Women are not allowed to go out of the house without a male chaperone. Remember a couple of years ago in Pakistan a young girl, Malala Yousafzai, was shot in the head and neck because she stood up for the rights of girls to go to school. Did you know that the majority of the 1.6 million Muslims in the world cannot read or write. Many of them are women and girls. They are not allowed to go to school or to be educated.

These kinds of things are oppression and abuse. The women in the West have no idea what oppression really is.

We need to wake up. There is real oppression of women across the world, and the women in this march are concerned about paying taxes on feminine hygiene products. Something is dreadfully wrong.
