Christian Apologetics toward Islam and Missions to Muslims

hatetargetToday I want to take a look at islamophobia. This is a weapon of choice by Muslim groups and political correctness advocates that is used to beat down anyone who says anything negative about Islam.

CAIR (the Council on American Islamic Relations) is a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood and which has clear ties to Hamas, both of which are terrorist organizations. It put out a document last year entitled “Same Hate, New Target” about islamophobia. On page eleven, CAIR defines Islamaphobia this way: “Islamophobia is close-minded [sic] prejudice against or hatred of Islam and Muslims.”

If you think that Christianity is the true religion, and anything outside is false, if you believe what it says in John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”, then your are islamophobic. The Christian message is exclusive so if you are a Christian and believe the Christian message you are an islamophobe.

If you even suggest that something is wrong with Islam they will interpret that as hate. You are, therefore, a hatemonger, an islamophobe, and the enemy. This is the stigma that the term “islamophobia” is trying to portray.

To call someone an Islamaphobe is to suggest that they have a mental illness or that they are void of logic and are irrational. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines Phobia as “an exaggerated, usually inexplicable and illogical fear.”

We have documented over the last three years how Islam masquerades as a religion when, in fact, it is an ideology that is bent on destroying anything and anyone that does not follow the teaching of the prophet Muhammad. They are using the label “islamophobia” to discredit anyone who speaks out against Islam.

Christians are being attacked on every hand. If you speak out against any of the sins of modern society you will be called names. Those who stand against the sin of homosexuality are called homophobes. If you stand against the slaying of the unborn, you are accused of being against women.

Let me get back on the subject. I suggest that the western governments are the true islamophpbes. Here is what I mean by this. They know how Muslims will react if they hear any criticism against Islam. There will be will be riots, shootings, bombings, murder, and other acts of terrorism. The governments in the West are so afraid of this that they establish hate speech laws to stop anyone from saying anything negative about Islam, no matter how true the statements may be.

Islam is an oppressive ideology and it oppresses those who follow its teachings. Islam uses fear to force Muslims to think the way they do. Remember, Islam means submit, and fear is used to intimidate Muslims as well as non-Muslims into submission. It is the teaching that I have the trouble with, it is not the individual Muslim.

Islam must muzzle the speech of citizens who voice a disagreement with their ideology. People are losing their jobs for speaking out against Islam.

Last year I reported that Fred Grandy, who used to play Gopher on the Love Boat , was put off the airwaves after attacking radical Islam on a morning show in Washington DC.

I know that some people say things in a way that is not right. I do my best to separate myself from those who stand against Islam in a mean, hateful manner. The Bible says to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

A Wal-mart Employee in Hamburg NY said derogatory things on FaceBook about how Muslims dress and was fired. Granted, he said things that were offensive, but the point I want to make is that we are supposed to have freedom of speech, but woe to anyone who speaks out against Islam. You don’t have to listen long to find out that it is perfectly OK to speak out against Christians no matter how offensive it may be.

Clive Hunt, a 58-year old IT consultant in Manchester, England, was confronted by this question earlier this month, when he suggested he would bring “bacon sandwiches” to a breakfast meeting with a recruitment consultant. Hunt says he was told he lost the job.

In central Florida, CAIR is pressuring University of Central Florida to fire a professor for his opposition to Islam.

Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley was fired for criticizing Islam at the Joint Forces Staff College. Here is a man whose career has been ruined because he dared to speak out against Islam. This is a man who defends our right to free speech and lost his job for exercising that right.

Harvard Fires a Tenured Professor, a Hindu, for speaking out against jihad.

We are living in a day when you cannot offend any of the “politically correct” groups, but it is politically correct to offend Christianity. My friend, Bill Warner, says we have become the “religion of nice. We, based on a wrong interpretation of Scripture, just keep turning the other cheek. It is time that we have the courage to stand our ground and stand for what is right.

One day America is going to have to have an honest conversation about Islam. Islam is masquerading as a religion. It is using the color of religion to harm persons and property.

Did you know that our founding fathers knew that there would be some who would use the color of religion to harm others? In some of the drafts of the Bill of Rights exceptions were proposed to keep the “color of religion” from harming others.

As far as I can tell, the phrase Color of Religion was coined by Patrick Henry. He proposed an exception to the freedom of religion clause of the bill of rights. It was similar to what was proposed for the Virginia constitution below.

Proposed draft for Virginia Article 15 and 16:

….. unless, under the color of religion, any man disturb the peace, the happiness, or the safety of society; and that it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other.”

Approved Maryland Article 37:

That as it is the duty of every man to worship God in such manner as he thinks most acceptable to Him, ….. unless, under the color of religion, he shall disturb the good order, peace or safety of the State, or shall infringe the laws of morality, or injure others in their natural, civil or religious rights;

This is still part of the Maryland state constitution.

I believe that such a law is too vague. We have seen how politicians and lawyers are too good at manipulating words to make them say something totally different from their original intent. They have taken the first amendment and turned it upside down to make it limit religion, rather than limiting the government. The original intent was to keep congress from making laws limiting the freedom of religion.

Although the language in these drafts, and the law as codified in the Maryland constitution, is too broad, we see that the founding fathers understood that some would use the “color of religion” to harm others.

This is exactly what Islam is doing. We have documented this. We have looked at their history, listened to their clerics, examined their scriptures, looked that the example of their prophet, Muhammad, and have seen that this is the way of Islam.

Western governments have fallen into the trap, and through fear (islamophobia), are passing laws to limit the free speech of their citizens. This will result in the eliminations of all of our freedoms if we don’t stand up and speak out against the atrocities of Islam.
