Christian Apologetics toward Islam and Missions to Muslims

Debunking Diversity is our Strength Myth – Part 3

We ave been looking at the myth that diversity is our strength. This is the mantra of political leaders who are globalists. They have been trying to feed us this Kool-aid, and sadly, many are drinking it. We Christians and patriots need to be warned about the danger of this teaching. The idea we can bring in all of these different cultures and religions belief systems together and have strength is absurd. The idea that we don’t need a national identity is equally absurd.

The French Election this past Sunday shows the result of this idea of cultural diversity. Emmanuel Macron defeated Marine Le Pen by 66% to 33%. Macron is supposed to be a centrist, but the more I learn about him, the more concerned I am. Le Pen wanted to stop the Muslim immigration in France, and of course the Muslims turned out in force. They did the same thing in their last presidential election for Francois Hollande. This is very revealing to me because 1.6 million Muslims voted and 98% of them voted for Hollande because he promised to undo some of what his predecessor had done, like stopping the wearing of the face covering in public. Hollande won the election by 1.1 million votes. This tells us that the Muslims in France have enough strength to pick the president of France.

Here is what Macron said just before the election:

Globalism can be a great opportunity. There is no such thing as French culture.

The French people I know would have gone ballistic over that. If there is any group that is more proud of their culture than the Americans, it is the French.

At another time Macron said:

There is culture in France, and it is diverse.

This is exactly the same thing we are hearing from Justin Trudeau, in Canada. Remember, he said that Canada is becoming a new kind of state. He talks about receiving cultures from all over the world, he calls it a pan-cultural heritage. The most revealing thing he said was there is no core identity, no mainstream, in Canada. He wants Canada to be the first “post-national” state.

It wasn’t too long ago that Trudeau called a mosque in Ottawa a “shining example” of diversity. The imam in this mosque is part of the International Union For Muslim Scholars, an organization that was placed on the United Arab Emirate’s list of designated terrorist organizations. Did you get that? A mosque with terrorist ties is praised by the Canadian Prime Minister for being a “shining example” of diversity.

They are feeding us the propaganda that we can’t say our way is better than someone else’s way. They call us bigoted, but they accept as a “shining example” someone who will chop of our heads if he gets a chance. It is diversity, but it is dangerous diversity.

The way to destroy or subdue a people is to cut them off from their roots. This tactic was used by the Communists in Russia.Alexander Solzhenitsyn, a Russian dissident, put it this way:

To destroy a people you must first sever their roots.

Remember the movie, Brave Heart? Even though there are a lot of historical problems in this movie,Longshanks did say “the problem with Scotland is that it is full of Scots.” It is believed that William Wallace married in secret because of the practice of the right of the first knight. The feudal lords were claiming the first right to the wedding bed so they could bring English children through the wombs of the Scottish women. The purpose was to break the Scottish roots.

The Romans did the same thing when they dispersed the people they conquered throughout their empire. The did this to reduce the chance of uprisings against Rome. They encouraged intermarriage and other things to sever them from their roots.

The whole idea that diversity is our strength just doesn’t hold up when we examine the facts. The Bible tells us that a house divided cannot stand.

But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house [divided] against a house falleth. (Luke 11:17)

It is unity that strengthens, not diversity or division. There can be union without unity. You can tie the tails of two cats together and have union, but you sure won’t have unity. This is why the Bible warns against the wrong kinds of unions.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14)

Sadly, this is not being practiced in our churches today. This passage is often used to talk about marriage, but it goes far beyond that. In the Old Testament, the Jewish men were told not to marry pagan women because the women would lead them away from God, and toward false gods.

Theodore Roosevelt said:

It is OK to have immigrants, but let’s all unite under one flag. We should insist that if an immigrant comes here in good faith, and becomes an American, and assimilates himself into our society, he should be treated with exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of his creed, or birthplace, or origin, but this is predicated upon the person’s becoming, in every facet, an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man that says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American Flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, and we have room for but one sole loyalty, and that is the loyalty to the American people.

There is so much more I would like to say, but the problem with the diversity/globalism, philosophy that so many political leaders are trying to force on us. is that it weakens us, it does not strengthen us. They want us to believe that a core national identity is a danger to us. This core identity, based upon one faith, which in America has been the Christian faith. is what gave us the courage to defeat both German Nazism and Russian Communism.

If we don’t fight to keep our Christian heritage, we will lose it, and we are so close to seeing that happen. It is time to stand up and have the courage to preach the truth. This is why we have adopted the slogan, standing at the corner of truth and courage.
